You haven’t mentioned that you could walk everywhere in Panama without being accosted by beggars, or fearing that you will have your smartphone stolen at gunpoint as occurs in neighboring countries. Panamá is uniquely Panamá, not understood by all who come from elsewhere and try to view her through their views of how people relate to each other. It is a country where no church, mosque, synagogue, Hindu temple, Protestant church has ever being bombed or shot at. Children of all tones go to school and return home,without parents fearing they will be victims of mass murder or some other act. Panamanians are comfortable being Panamanians, regardless of their ethnic background and we hope it will remain that way, as long as we are careful of others arriving with different views of how things should be.
