I lived there in 2016 and 17 and i think it is a very nice place to live. People are friendly and most people seem happy. There is rarely problems with traffic. They have the most awesome parades down town and lots of places to see and many nice places to eat. They have the best affordable antique stores and lots of them. I lived in a 3 bed rental home with a fenced in back yard with fire pit, very nice, about 2 mls from downtown for 700. month and electric was rarely over 100.00 a month. Loved it there.. I never seen a lot of crime.
i like how you guys constantly narrate your visit throughout Pensacola. I lived there during my childhood years and would love to retire there one of these days. Keep up the good work.
Haha...another great video....U guys seem like fun to hang out ...lol......I’m seriously considering moving to Pensacola but a little nervous. I live in downtown Phoenix, Arizona. We have been the fastest growing city in the Nation for years...We are the 5th largest city in the Nation and are expected to be the 4TH largest city by 2026, passing Houston. I have a brand new 1 bed/1bath condo in downtown walking distance to the skyline, Phoenix Suns NBA stadium, AZ DBacks Stadium and all shops, bars, & grills. We have Zero or no Natural Disasters whatsoever. However, I did live in San Diego California for 10 yrs back in the day and miss the beach vibe. I would love one of those very small cottages that you keep mentioning that you like but would probably be scared shitless when a Hurricanes is forming or on its way. Not only can you get killed but you can lose everything. The prices seem affordable. I would like a small place for around $175K or so. But then you have to factor in Hurricane Insurance, Property Insurance, Flood Insurance, WInd & Hail insurance, vs none of that B.S here in Arizona...... Tough call
Randy says: New Orleans, along the gulf coast through Biloxi, Mobile, and Pensacola has Alot of French Architecture, cultural influence, Roman Catholic Residents and Influence, and all of the above are Big Time into Mardi Gras(Carnival) same thing. Us navy base in Pensacola, Very Friendly, Traditional type locals around there.Thank you for reminding me what it looks like. Julie and I are Seriously thinking about relocating there. We have family in the area. Be safe and on high Alert in northern Mobile,Al or Pritchard,Al. if you go there.Peace.
Camden,New Jersey Level Dangerous at night. Please be Careful. Same with New Orleans, Lafayette, and Avoid Baton Rouge Altogether. I bet your Viewers would REALLY Like Biloxi, Mississippi,Bayou La Batre and Coden, Alabama ( From the Forest Gump Movie) as well as the eastern shore Alt.98 drive through Baldwin county Alabama. Remember, Use situational awareness Always. Stay safe,Peace
yeah i like visting Pensacola. Really fun place. Yeah, there’s some sketchy neighborhoods here and there, especially West Pensacola, but it’s not the absolutely worst thing ever, and definitely not nearly as bad as North Mobile or the New Orleans hoods. but yeah glad you’re finally exploring nw florida. great are
GM Jose and Katie Nice video of Pensacola. Pensacola is on the other side of Mobile,Al which isn't far from New Orleans. I think Mobile is 150 miles from New Orleans. Be safe love 💘 🐦
Lived here since 2013, before that lived in Navarre and Fort Walton Beach since 2002. I used to go to a church off of Lillian hwy going through fairfield. Many times got lost. I live over in Bellview now which is north of west Pensacola. Since its not too far from Cantonment, its a nice mix of suburban but sub rural as well, lots of trees, farmers market, some nice older style brick homes. Its not too far from downtown and relatively quiet.
Katie and Jose 🤙🏼 Pensacola you came through my side of town next time let me know your number 1# fan would like to meet you two😎⚓ enjoy Pensacola it's a wonderful place
The 1st hood you went thru is at 500 Fairfield dr. If you want the full experience drive thru on a Friday night much more interesting then. Also 2800 n 9th ave. The house with the green garage door and plywood on the windows is vacant. I am really familiar with all this area due in my job. The house for sale on magnolia ave is listed at $495K about average for that neighborhood with a water view.
The sad part about any of the Panhandle area is there is just hardly no jobs unless your into retail.....uggg guess I am stuck in Alabama!!! Well unless a job opening comes up...bahaha.....I will say if I have to be stuck in Alabama (and I am) Prattville is where it's at for me....Birmingham uggg -- plus side to living in Alabama tho is there isn't any direct hurricane hit's unless your in Gulf Shores of course....I prefer Panama City Beach but Pensacola isn't bad...
Thanks you really covered a lot. Am looking to relocate considering Balduan County and wanted to take a look at Pensacola. Seems on average the yards are much larger in Alabama for about same $. Anyway thanks so much.
This isn't really hood, but like they say, can't do the real deal because of sensitivities and reactions in comments, but that doesn't solve anything. Brownsville West Pensacola, have real home projects and hood, but it's in individual housing where becomes worse hood.
I'm surprised by some of the areas you drove through ... however that abandoned train station near town was disturbing to say the least. Houses in the city although cute but homes are close enough to pass the salt and pepper at dinner not crazy about that.
@@NatureRecycleFlorida 🤔 I enjoy traveling florida.. but Naples where my people at the traffic sucks so bad and non stop heat.. its nice to see new places and travel new states.. change the scenery a lil bit
Man you went from Pensacola village to the historic district which for our siders is the best part of Pensacola maine go to Moreno ct Or attucks court or old palafox area or most of Brent, goulding, Brownsville, or go to oak wood terrace apartments or dogwood cr or Forrest creek apts or smith ave duplexes cause you rlly ain’t in the hood besides Pensacola village
You have no idea what you're talking about. He showed some dumpy areas but also showed rich areas. Did you pay attention? Is your city perfect? No city is. Your privilege is showing.
