The municipality of Pola is 3rd class municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro. But even though it is a 3rd class municipality, it is 1st class when it comes to nature, environment, and biodiversity. Because of its huge landmass, Pola hides its treasure in nature like Calima Falls which is located in Brgy. Calima, and Bihiya Beach, that is located in Brgy. Misong.
To go to Calima Falls, it is 45 mins to one hour trek from the bottom of the mountain up to its peak (not totally peak). It seems near but the trek was just totally adventurous and too steep. But you still get to enjoy it, just stay safe. :)
Going to Bihiya Beach, there are lots of boat (bangka) that is located beside the Municipality of Pola. You just ask where the boat station is. Yet you can also hire a private boat which costs 100 per person and depending upon how big the boat is. Bihiya beach is one hour away from the city.
