Absolutely love these kind of experience videos!!! Why do competitor channels feel they have to make everything about cars? - it’s also about the experiences you can have in them! Makes for much better viewing!!! Great video Sam!!!
They all follow the same prepared scripts and formats, have the same product placement. The only difference in the videos is the face and voice of presenters.
Totally agree! RU-vid algorithm should take quality of material into consideration more.. Sam’s content is SO much better than a lot of stuff that keeps getting pushed by the algorithm.
Everything about this Vlog made me smile. For the RS6, to the views, the music, the editing, the pizza banter, and of course Twiggy. The whole mood of this vlog is exactly what I love about your channel Sam, the have impeccable taste with your style of capturing you audience……. BTW I’m from the Caribbean and now I want to visit Scotland 😅. Keep up the great work! 👊🏾
Yesssssss, superb content againnnnnnnn. Really is so much higher quality than the rest of RU-vid filth out there. The main reason I keep coming back, love the RS6 (and the podcast btw) 🤝
"I've stayed in better for less." Exactly why we watch and love these travelogues. Informative, entertaining and amusing. Sometimes the car has to take a backseat in your vids Sam. Excellent as always. Keep it up!
This is my fav channel. We appreciate all the hard work that goes into these videos. On UK hotels - they are all super expensive now! Not just Andy Murray's. Prices seem to have doubled in the last couple of years, which is probably why Andy Murray bought one... or why that air bnb is £560/ night!!!
Love the channel, the videos, the cars and in this the scenery. A* editing to match, very little comes close. Thank you Sam as always, greatly appreciated.
After years of watching car content on RU-vid, I’m consistently impressed by your videos. One of the few I still enjoy watching, and seeing the progression as a content creator, videographer and reviewer. I appreciate the honesty about things like the cost vs experience of the hotel stay. Cheers!
Oh mate, loved this! There’s absolutely a series in this somewhere. Cars and cabins! Something like that lol. I’d watch that for sure! Different car, different place to stay, two reviews, and a load of fun along the way. Also, big fan of your presenting style and editing! Keep them coming!
I have been watching this channel since the Jag F type days, I was just beginning uni and found this channel to be my ‘comfort video’ from study stress. Now I’m much older and I just had my first child and I’m still here watching your videos and finding the same comfort. Brilliant video and great channel. I’ve watched every video you’ve uploaded since I became a subscriber
I recently ordered an RS7 and have been wowed watching Audi RS content on youtube as before this purchase I never really looked into Audi's as none of the older models caught my eye. The second I got recommended a beautiful RS7 spec on Instagram I fell in love and the rest was history!
Don't mind the gas bill too much. Just enjoy the life while you can. Prices go up and prices go down, look instead what you got for the money spent. :)
As ever Sam, great content, awesome production and the RS against the Scottish Highlands...well, just stunning! Thanks also for the introduction to Matt Large's track, works well on a Monday morning whilst cracking on with work 😎
Dude, Jerry Seinfeld just named you as one of his favourite Automotive RU-vidrs on Spikes Car Radio (up there with DeMuro, Harris and Savage Geese). Bit starts around 16/17mins into the recent GT3RS v GT3 Touring episode. Well in 🤘
Dude, roadtrip content is my favorite, just keep them coming! I myself do a two-week roadtrip in Europe with my family every summer, and it’s the best days of the year. This year we are actually doing Ireland… and the Highlands.
Absolutely beautiful video. Stunningly beautiful landscapes captured masterfully. Each and every aspect of freedom taken in as any human would. Bless you Sam for bringing us such beautiful content. Giving it a huge thumbs up and staying subscribed for plenty more videos to come! (hell yeah)
Glad you did the trip in the RS6. Given the narrow Scottish roads, if you couldn't open up the RS6, your wouldn't have fared any better with the M5, and I like the RS6 better. One of the most enjoyable videos to watch on a Sunday morning, with a nice coffee of course. Thanks Sam!
Great video! I always like cars and was willing to take a look at the Audi, thought I think some of these shots of Scotland are by far amongst the best, not that I didn't already want to explore Scotland a lot, but now I am really willing to put it higher on my priority list, never been up there yet unfortunately, but now I am really looking forward to a future trip to Scotland, thank you !
I luv cars, motorcycles and all of that... but this time, honestly, i'm here for the cabin and views!! What an outstanding place to be 🙌 Greetings from Portugal
Hey Sam, please make more of these. Keep the balance that you feel you need with an only car world, but the travel \ Airbnb’s part of your content is ace.
Thank you very much Sam, an excellent UK travel vlog! Cool you daily the RS6 and share your thoughts. Perhaps with your experiences, any fun in a STG 'Survive The Wild' vlog. Gain those off-grid skills. Cheers 😎👍
Absolutely loved the mini tour of the Airbnb! I loved how it was pretty isolated from everything and those views are impossible to beat. I can only imagine how cozy that place is on a cold night by the fire
Sam, on the camping fire tips: Build a "tepee fire" for cooking outside in the pizza oven (highest temp directed at an apex). Build a "log cabin fire" for inside (to keep warm longer and to not have to tend). Reference Air Force SERE manual for instructions. Loved the travel vlog!
You are very welcome to return to Scotland anytime Sam. I'm from the east coast but we have often holidayed around Fort William on SSDT week. Stunning scenery, and the roads ain't bad either.
Fantastic video Sam! the A82 (highlanders racetrack) is a wonderful road through some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland, which makes it unbelievable popular for camper/caravans. You definitely struck it lucky with the weather though, air b&b location was amazing.
I’ll be heading to glencoe next week, then on to the Isle of Skye. That’s another place that you should visit. The scenery to fort William is stunning, but the Isle of Skye is another step up again.
Great professional video Sam. I like your varied approach, showing us interesting venues, as well as scenery, other youtubers think they can get away with yapping to the camera for half an hour from the driving seat, or pointing the camera forward, so all you see is road for ages. Very boring. Keep up the good work! Living in Scotland, I have a b7 RS4, an ideal car for Scottish B roads, being smaller, but still takes my dog and bike. Like most Scotsmen, it likes a good drink though!
Awesome video!! One tip if you come back up... try the SWC300.. (South West Coast 300).. Ecoty have been here on my doorstep many times.. Tourists always bypass this place and because of that.. it's quiet on the roads (as long as you stay off the A75..). Stunning scenery as well. Just saying... all the best to you!
Great content as usual Sam. I’m from North Berwick, so it was great to see Drift featured; the views towards the Bass Rock and Tantallon castle are amazing.
The Fort William area is one of my favourite places in the UK, many great holidays up there - and the drive up there (once we clear Glasgow) is glorious.
That does indeed look like a very fine log cabin property. Needs the heating to work easily though. The sofa looks a lot like the famous Ektorp model from IKEA. Fantastic car for the trip and so distinguished looking in your colour scheme. Thank you.
Sam! So glad you made a travel vlog vid missed these. These videos in this format are why I stopped watching others car vids. The journey is just as exciting as the cars and you portray that. 👍🏾👍🏾
This video is a great example why the STG channel is growing and growing and Paul Wallace's channel is doing the opposite. Great visuals, great editing, always a decent storyline and the usual "feelgood" vibes vs "My new supercar", "New exhaust", "Sold my supecar" etc.
I did the nc500 in March we were so lucky with the weather, on the way home from Inverness we went via Loch ness fort William Ben nevis down to Glasgow amazing drive, you did it justice with your filming captured very well
Watching this specific vlog,i can't help feeling that Viki should have been part of it, unless she didn't want to,that is, but as this vlog felt more like a lifestyle one, i thought she would have fitted it,just like Eamon & Bec, and Kara and Nate... Just a thought... Eitherway, a very beautiful cabin and very chilled vlog nonetheless... That's what i love about you Sam, your vlogs are different, and very much your genuine self, instead of being all business like about it, which helps with watching your vlogs with a much more chilled attitude... Keep at it by all means, please and thank you... Edit: Wrote that comment above, not realising Viki was actually gonna be part of the vlog, towards the end... at 18:05... 🤦♂
As always top notch cinematography and editing Sam. Don’t worry, I heard that Stephen Spielberg isn’t the best hunter-gatherer either…. #playtoyourstrengths 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
U wanna experience of the grid Air bnb`s with SPECTACULAR views? Come vist the fjords and mountains of Norway! Anyhoo...absolutely love your road trip vlog and really enjoy the fruits of all the work U put into theese Sam. Drone clips, time-lapses, fly-bye`s...oh and cool to sort of see Vicky back in the videos. More tomatoes!! 🙂 Keep it up!
