Your reaction 😆👍🏼 remember the 1st time I saw the west coast, it’s honestly indescribable isn’t it and looks nothing on camera like in real life I agree. Genuinely, Applecross is not hard mate, there’s 2 hairpins that are a 1st gear but the rest is nothing to worry about. In Rose, I’d definitely say to do applecross down hill if you could over going up. In winter, different story sure, any ice or snow id avoid too! But the views are spectacular from the top car park. Good spot for overnight too ( unless changed now) you can see Skye and the cullins on a clear day👌🏼

I admire your passion with your travels, enjoyed all your videos which I have binged watch over the last few days. Great to see all the work you have done on your van. Superb filming of all the amazing places you visit - better than the BBC. I love the remoteness of the places you visit , so far away from the mad greedy world the majority of us endure on a daily basis. Living as you so , being self sufficient, is the only way forward for human kind. I look forward to more videos in the weeks and months ahead.

the highest waterfall is Eas a' Chual Aluinn and its a good 4-5mi walk in from Allt Chranaidh Waterfall, over the Bealach a' Bhuirich. its a tough walk but worth it. its a good 2-3 hour walk each way.

it doesn't look far on the map but the ground is rough. still worth the effort if you have the time. difficult to photograph due to its scale but if you have a drone thats ideal. a couple more miles and theres a nice wee bothy. safe travels dude @@RustyRoseAdventures

You soooo right ~ the camera never quite gets it all duz it!~ west coast is truly stunning ~ all ur "wows" made me smile ~ gunna av to plan an adventure up there again 👌👍🌞🌞😍

I really really would not do Beanacre na bè in your van, The road is really narrow, hair pin bends and HUGE drops of the side and vehicles coming from the other side and there's only a few passing places in about 3 miles. I can't stop you but we did it in the jumbo transit and I found it terrifying

It's corry - shalloch the ch sounds like you're clearing your throat gorge, its the same when you say loch. I love that waterfall. Unfortunately Martin had to do it without me as my hips and back were playing up 😢 I hated that gorge bridge as when we went some twat was bouncing on it and I have a fear of heights as it is 😮

Great video Max and know the area well after living in Scotland for over 25 years! We go full time next month and having a 7.5 motorhome maybe a bit restrictive but would love a van similar to yours. I still have my small Renault Trafic van as a spare! Cheers Dave

@@RustyRoseAdventures When summer comes Max, grind out the outer layers that are bubbling and re-apply some fiberglass and polyester resin. the woven fiberglass comes in 1 meter rolls at different grades and the resin can be purchased in 25 kg containers or less if needed. Acetone is a must to prep existing area and get a proper bond. Don't buy from boat yards or car parts places...order or purchase direct, WAY less expensive (actually cheap) that's how I got it when I worked on boats. Your van I would consider one day's work with the right setup, not doing all the work from a ladder or any finish sanding & painting...then you'd be talking closer to two days depending on how fussy you are 👍
