We lived there for 3 years. We enjoyed our stay there at church and mission areas like Cabalan. I like your market and movie theaters too. I am watching from California now.

Sobrang ganda talga ng lugar namin im so thankful kasi nag Decision si mama ko na umuwi ng olongapo kasi mahirap buhay sa bisaya. 20 years nakong nakatira dito at may maayos ng work at mga mabubuting kaibigan proud to be olongapenyos here!! 🥰💯
I miss Olongapo City and Subic Bay. All I can say is that people are nice and friendly. I was amazed by their jeepneys, drivers really respect and obey traffic rules. Hope to visit again soon.
From my days there many years ago, i would guess that "Hepa Lane" is from the longer name " Hepatitis Lane"....but the people were great. I walked the forbidden zone, but with confidence and a native female partner, there was no real difficulty.
The most amazing thing to me is that it looks more like Tokyo than Tijuana, like it did when I was there last. It just shows what the city and country can do with an international port when they run it instead of renting it out to the US Navy. I'm no knocking the Navy, I'm just stating the obvious. "Monkey Sticks" and lumpia...way better than Taco Bell or White Castle.
