If you enjoy checking out Bangkok and other SE Asia spots, consider subscribing. I'll continue to make videos showing the streets in Bangkok and beyond. Thailand is amazing and a great place to visit, work or retire. I'll do my best to show you how to live affordably in SE Asia. Plus, enjoy some great side trips from Bangkok.
9:50 I spent a week at the Noble Recole this year but didn't have a balcony. Nice unit though with a view toward Terminal 21. Got my Thai iced tea for 25 Baht from the lady at 7:15.
@@EagerExpat i didn't really know him, but I remember him and around that time. He was a former Green Beret who had no fear of heights. Came home after work to find he was locked out, so convinced his neighbour to let him climb between balconies.
I met Darrel a few times years ago at the Doll house , really nice guy. Very tragic how it ended for him , there is a little memorial photo collage to him on the wall by the bar in Doll house.
We lived on soi 19 in 1972 at Villa Bajaj. We had to leave when the riots broke out. All US military families departed back to the states. Wonderful memories of Bangkok. Thanks for posting !!!!!
Joes videos just makes us all so nostalgic, specially those of us who lived there or where on short stays. I really hope I can get my income together in the coming years so that I can move to bkk for good. I love Thailand, with my Bangladeshi passport I have very few option, might have to buy the elite visa, Heck il do it if that is what it takes!
W@@smythe62 Things are pretty mellow on Soi 19 these days. Glad you enjoyed the video. Check out my Bangkok playlist. I have many Soi walks. I'm sure things have really changed Some of the other videos are looks around the bars and live music. All pretty G rated. No crazy Pattaya videos here.
Ya, I say it wrong at times. Other people say um um um others mumble making videos. We all just do our best. Most of us don't have a need to run others down. But, you do you.....
