Brought back the memories Jonny. I found that nice beach by accident, there is actually a small bar beer to service the nearby seamen. The giant Aquarium I have also visited, it is well worth a 3 hour or so drive down the coast from Hua Hin.
14 years since I was in Bangsaphan, spent best part of 6 weeks there. I thought you might have at least shown the town, info about the markets and so on. I used to drive up to Hua hin to buy some new books, before I got a kindle, and have a night out, before heading back the next day. Guess I'll just have to go and find out for myself!
I was married to an Aussie. Queenslander, Surfers Paradise, and we got married in Burleigh Heads. Some of the best beer ever, Powers, XXXX, VB. Loved them all. That marrraige lasted all of 3 years.

As a Californian, I need to get back there and teach you how to throw a Frisbee.... Was in Hua Hin end of March but couldn't find time to meet up. 🤟. But since we're looking to buy a home there, I'm sure we'll find time in the future.

Pattaya is just too crazy although Darkside was an option. But great vibe in Hua Hin. Was supposed to have beers with you 4 or 5 years ago but you went out of town. Met Zak magician 👍 we didn't stay long enough to understand the place. Get it now and plan on buying, no clue when. But I'll promise you and som and title will be invited for a dinner and a swim. I'll make a Calif crack burger for ya lol. Wife can cook the Thai food 🤟
Buy her swimming lessons (and a belly jewel). My X-Filipina learned how to swim laps and within 2 years she could put a full lap into me in a 1000 meter (10 lap) race in Dumaguete's underused 50m olympic pool. Almost under 20 minutes!

My friend Darren brought it with him from Australia but you can buy them in Lazada bloody expensive though about 1500-2000thb. If you live in Bangkok I think you can get them for cheaper at central world in the department store. Bloody good product 😊👍🍺
3000 Baht a night is not very budget friendly, but more to the upper market. You might expect something nice for that. We have been in Bang Saphan Noi, which is a bit closer to the islands and is nice too. We had a room for 1000 Baht and an amazing breakfast. But it's over eight years ago.
Thing is, if you want to be right on a beach like that, that's what it'll usually cost. The hotels aren't stupid and they know what premium beachfront is worth.
AFL agreed is more the 3 major southern states game but it's taking over as far as fan numbers go. I enjoy NRL as well as AFL. There is room for both Jonny.
