Absolutely positive that the micronauts were in a comic i had as a child, it may have been the marvel Star Wars comic or 2000ad but it was deffo a comic strip in the uk.

Oh yes it’s just the same toy line, mego licensed it from Takara in 1976 and brought it to America, labels slapped it as micronauts then they did a deal with airfix to distribute in Europe and the uk because they were one of the biggest toy companies here at the time, I was more focusing on the airfix 1978 catalogue and the toy lines they were putting together, I find it fascinating how many toys they were repurposing at the time !
