Glad to hear and see that Baja is holding up. It has for years and years been exploited for its resources and because of its beauty. Good video.

Kuddos to the photographers. Absolutely beautiful filming. The desert filming must have been particularly difficult. Waiting for the bird to come and go from a cactus in the middle of a hot desert must have been intense😊❤

Wikipedia, and many other sources, say the Sea of Cortez were created in a tectonic event between 5 and 6 million years ago.

Romans 1:22 Context 19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Uh.... The vaquita, world's smallest dolphin 🐬 lives in the Northern part of the Sea of Cortez is on the brink of extinction. Less than thirty Left!!?. Driven by cartels helping the Chinese to catch the Totoaba Fish 🐟 catching dolphin 🐬 too and drowning in the nets. So you need to know the whole story. Sea of Cortez has major problems ecologically. Also the Colorado River doesn't flow to the Gulf of Mexico anymore since it is damned in nineteen places. Used to be One of the lushest Deltas on Earth 🌍 now has not even a trickle 💦💧🐬

I’m so sick of these woke documentaries. Someone I just want a documentary and not an, “Everything is in decline, you’re the reason and you need to be reminded of it!”
@ccburro1
@ccburro1 Месяц назад
One of the major reasons that these documentaries are made by the people who make them is that they recognize that there are largely-human-caused threats to the ocean ecosystems (sea creatures, plants, algae, etc) that humans depend on, and only humans can address. Addressing of these problems don’t happen unless enough people know about them and take actions-as has been and is being done for whales, migrating seabirds, manatees, dolphins, etc.
@ccburro1
@ccburro1 Месяц назад
Note-I’ve heard that the older (pre-2000, perhaps) BBC documentaries are less likely to have environmental messaging re human-caused threats and thus may be more to your liking.

How is that woke
@Dr.Yalex.
@Dr.Yalex. Месяц назад
I understand that you are sick of these “woke” documentaries about our planet animals being in decline, and that we are the reason our planet is being killed slowly but surely… 😢 I am truly ashamed of being a human being on this planet😮. The reason for my shame is that I participated in trashing this planet. I was born in the early 60s, I inherited a beautiful planet with many more animals on it, with many more forests, with more oxygen, with cleaner oceans. Personally I am embarrassed about the state of the planet I’m leaving to my grandchildren😢

This would be a great documentary if the background "music" were kept in the background. Unfortunately, some of the people who made this documentary were too obtuse to understand unwanted sound is noise.
