Thanks Elektron and all team for giving this updates and video demos and explanations for free. You are the best company in this area and type of product. Cheers. 💥✌
@@InRoB-Music it's always nice when they have an update but if they need ideas I'm pretty sure people have plenty eg I'd like to be able to automate all the functions of the arp
@Elektron I might be missing something but I would dearly love to use the pads in Perf mode applied to the various Euclidian parameters, particularly the rotations... can't seem to find a way to do that , so far. But despite this it is an amazing machine!!! 🙏
41:00 I usually save one-kit-per-pattern and save the kit with the name of the pattern. All my kits are called A1, A2..B1, B2 etc. This way you can't mess up, given you remember to save a new kit whenever you change pattern :) (check my channel I have a video on AR workflow)
i have a question, almost all euclidian style sequencers snap notes to a 16th grid, meaning the notes are nearly equally spaced, but rounded to the nearest 16th. would it be possible to have an un-snapped euclidian with steps that are spread precisely equally, meaning that odd numbers of steps don't fall on the grid. the only tool i know that does it is tidal cycles, but it's a big pain to set up and maintain so i've pretty much stopped using it.
This is the best tutorial on the update so far as most made quick videos without studying the update. Ricky brought out the detail of the Euclidean machine of its use and results which no one could Thank you Let’s hope the update reaches other Elektron boxes. 🤞🤞
This is probably the best electronic instrument tutorial video I have seen, and I have watched a lot of them. Things are consicely and clearly explained but, and this is the crucial bit, then demonstrated with good musical examples. Very different to the recent Digitakt 1.50 update tutorial videos, which are more like someone reading a list of what the new features are. The latter don't really make for a good tutorial videos, although they are fine for making one aware of what features the new update brings. Anyways I wanted to say well done re the AR 1.70 tutorial video. Very good, very good indeed! I would put this video in the catagory of "proper teaching" :)
I really want to buy one but look what happened to the digitakt you dropped the new Maschine’s then they dropped the digitakt 2 so is a new rtym comming as i don’t want to drop 1400 on one then it be worth half within a month
Excellent! As a Rytm owner and having many other Elektrons, this is great help to dive deeper into the new features. I wish that Kemper Access Music would do the same and update the Virus.
every time ricky is showin some elektron gear it bores me to death these machines can do so much and everything he makes sounds almost the same borin to me, he`s propably the best anticommercial to these sweet products
he does a fine job showing the features in great detail in an easy to understand way. as a machine manufacturer there is a law of diminishing returns when you have the demonstrations contain music that's too good.
They choose Ricky only because he is a popular guy and his manner of speaker is more appealing to a new users. In the other hand Cenk had more advanced (or better to say creative) skills in using Elektron machines but he had nerdy vibes. It's apples and oranges but I want to see Cenk again one day.
@@synthetic_culturecannot compare the two. Cenk would demo with great results in super quick mode as he is game boy geek. However not once would he actually explain his skill. Mostly he would experiment on the fly and the quickness made all errors escape 🤪🤪 An art should be shared
@@synthetic_culture Cenk is more intuitive and lacks in explaining his process like Ricky who is more detailed and nerdy than Cenk. Both have their strength.
why not you explore the machines yourself on top of the fundamentals Ricky is offering.....you want the esoteric nature of the individuality for yourself so you could copy and then everyone will sound the same......make it yourself and be unique.
