Exploring the Archives Update for Bendy and the Dark Revival (BATDR - New Update) 

Hey! Audrey finally got the coffee on her table! The main obstacle we weren’t able to accomplish in the game 😂

It’s sort of a happy conclusion knowing Buddy Boris’s adventure from the spin-off game was playing out in the story of Dark Revival, which means in this Cycle he never became Brute Boris and is just continuing his normal routine, collecting supplies and surviving in the studio.

If you look closely at carley's design, you can notice her eyes following your movement. Kinda creepy.

There is a little funny Easter egg in the archives. There is a trash can to the left of the main entrance. If you open it, you can see Harold the fish, thrown away. There is also a little description for him too.

To clarify on the "Barley's name was Fisher" thing. They Butcher Gang had different twisted "clone" names. Their character names have been Charley, Barley and Edgar, but their "Inky" names are Piper, Fisher, and Striker. 😊

There is a secret message in the Archives. There is a bin on left when you first walk in. If you open it, Harold the fish is inside with a message 'too much dry air, not enough fish food.'

The line with Audrey's Doughnut was hilarious.

It’s a bit sad on how we couldn’t see any Beta/Alpha characters, it would’ve been pretty cool. (Like the concept for Bendy in the original game.)

I love they updated the story, I do wish we got more Alice. It's interesting Sammy originally had a larger role, it would be interesting to see what he would have done.

I wish we could see the BETA version of the Ink Demon for BATDR.

Its nice the devs still update Bendy, its crazy its been 6 years already

When the archive mentions Carley’s physical form being more of a shell with someone possibly inside, it could be hinting at her original creator. Since there’s a lost ones corpse near the box and an audio log, and when you open the box and turn around, both Carley and the lost one disappear, hinting at one inhabited the creature.

Here's my theory about Betty: The developers put up that message to have people do theories so they could select the best one for her character and put it into the next game.

I love how the Archives gives us a chance to get a close look at all the models of the game, and gives us some insight to the development process by sharing some of their ideas in the earlier versions of the game. I love this game with all my heart. ❤

My guess about why they removed the roaming idea is they want players to explore freely without the Ink Demon appearing at the worst time. Also in Ch 3 of BatIM they updated it with more cutouts and after a few are taken down Bendy appears slowing their progress having to hide themselves and continue taking down the rest with Bendy appearing annoyed with his cutouts being destroyed

I’m happy we were finally given an archives on the characters telling their story, this finally confirms that what was mentioned in the game was true all along. It’s also interesting to me that they hinted in Toms story that the original Boris the wolf is actually going through Batds while batdr is happening.

The fact that they made Bendy more creepy and dark looking is amazing. When I first played BATIM and ran across Bendy, it sent chills up my spine and to my head, and when I watched other people play BATIM:TDR, and first run across Bendy talking and even him chasing you, It was like a horror movie. If they were to ever make a horror movie based on the BATIM series, it would be amazing and terrifying.

I hope there is a third game. The Ink Machine in the hands of GENT is just disaster waiting to happen. Also, loved the Archives, so much to learn.

I don't think Sammy is a trapped soul, instead a recreation much like Henry and that is why he has the flow ability. From what I can gather, it seems that people and creatures born from the ink have these special powers; maybe that also explains Henry's vision in batim chapter 4. Because he is made from the ink.

It is important to note that when you're in the vents in chapter 4, you can see a very brief shot of Boris the wolf.

I love the look of the Archives and the detail and info in it. Hype for more Bendy and Bendy 3. It's definitely going to The Gent Company play a major role in the story from the looks of the ending of Dark Revival and what was mentioned. Can I get an amen? *I said can I get an amen?*

I love how this archive and the entire game feels like something out of the bioshock franchise, it just feels like a fresh dip into rapture's waters, i love this game.

I like how before it would only tell the characters backstory and now it also tells the production (or only tell the production I think)

this game has started to grow on me, at first it was very different and I didn't really like the "younger versions" thing but I see why they made these choices and I cant wait for what they do next

Sammy's Flow ability explains why he disappears after the 1st time we see him in BATIM Chapter 2, as well as being able to teleport while playing as him in BATDS

They hint that there is someone inside Carly could it be the girl who created her wearing a costume? She wanted to bring Carly to life and when everything went down maybe her desire manifested into her having flow so she could teleport around and scare people....like a ghost.

They should add EVERY single weapon from batim and batdr to shooting range and you can check how they works

When I was younger, I'd watch every BATIM theory 'till the end of C5. By BATDR, I was starting to really get excited for the game and for it's release. Sadly, it got delayed for over 2 years, yet I still waited! Now, I'm watching this and the nostalgia hits harder than ever.

17:58 they never changed their names. They have enemy nicknames that the people inhabiting the ink world nicknamed the according to Allison calling Charley “that’s a Piper!” So they have enemy names and their original cartoon character names! Plot twist... You're actually playing as BATIM Hnery Stein while exploring the archives because theres no physical body when you look down.

I love lord Amos’s name, because the English word ‘amok’ describes a rebel, someone who doesn’t obey the rules. Lord amok and his followers are rebels who disobey the rules as they don’t worship Wilson.

this is really cool but i think the worst part is the fact they don't show the unused content (like we saw a old ink demon model a few weaks ago and here we could have gotten a better look at him and more stuff that was cut)

It's really cool to see more Bendy content, sadly the game wasn't as hype like BATIM, But it's still worth the wait for me. Happy that the devs made the archives I was very curious and interested on how the devs developed the models of each character.

Let’s actually hope bendy can roam around the studio which can make more of an intense atmosphere

at 17:48 this is same character where if you open the coffin that has been locked inside coffin forever, until it comes out then will do jumpscrape in front of you whole game if you dont open coffin, you won't have jumpscare for whole game

Part of me hopes that Alice doesn't reappear - she's an awesome character, but I don't want her to become another Afton where they just needlessly reappear in future games

I hope in the third game that we play as a child that was created from the ink machine but was never human. They were created by one of the workers and Joey Drew Studios, and then a few years later, they came back and got memories from when they were made.

Wilson in the early versions of the game was going to be a servant of Nathan Arch's son but in the final version, he is Nathan Arch's son.

Absolutely love seeing these kind of updates, where you can view the models up close. I just wish they could of also added the old game models. So we could see the full evolution of Bendy's design.

A little complaint i have about the game is that we never get to see the pit. Maybe they re leaving it for a sequel or a dlc?

I kinda figure when seeing the cartoon Bendy form, there might have been a squeak of some kind like how Mickey does it in 'Epic Mickey." But having a cute silent lil Bendy walking around and helping you is just enough. If only there was one more interaction with him before the Ink demon came to save Audrey. Tho it makes sense since we play near Wilson's location with the beacons on, Bendy would be too scared to go near there

Just a thought. But remember, in Chapter 5 of BATIM in Joey's office, when he talks about the first creation of the ink machine? The imagery he used makes me think that maybe, somewhere in the real world, there's an ink demon locked up somewhere. Perhaps the Gent corp is in current possession? I dunno, it's just a small theory I came up with. Maybe the tapes don't mean anything since the cartoon world was made up by Joey.

it makes perfect sense that Sammy can flow, thats how he disappeared into that wall at the beginning of chapter 2 of the first game

Sammy’s role could have been better, maybe he could’ve worshipped the ink demon’s new look but then he would get like upset for him to be imprisoned in bendy’s form so he most likely would’ve given up his worshipping.

If you move the camera out of bounds a *bit* near the area where the cycle breakers are found (you might know where this is going), you can see a creepy variant of bendy named “sinny.” This name was given by tetrabitgaming when describing this creepy variant of bendy, which appeared out of bounds a multitude of times, with a sign that says “wandering is a terrible sin.” This phrase is also his description when you hover over him.

There is one last character you forgot to check......and that is Harold the fish. He is in the trash can to the left when you enter the archives.

So wait, if Boris and the Dark Survival and Bendy and the Dark Revival took place at the exact same time as each other, does that mean the Ink Demon was still pursuing Boris, and then whenever he wasn’t, he was after Audrey in different forms? Or does he have the ability to duplicate himself? Whatever the case may be, it could potentially explain how little we saw both the Ink Demon and Bendy in Dark Revival, though that may leave some sort of issue, little Bendy is supposed to be the Ink Demon whenever he’s suppressed, so, provided he’s not close to any of the GENT towers, the Ink Demon can still go after Boris.

What about the projectionist? He was one of the best characters in the 1st game. And he was the most important because he controlled the income machine. He had the power of the Tommy gun and the end wheel And I wanted to see him in a post credit scene where he was like golden Friday and was just flickering light and the income machine was sort of beaming It kind of And it would have been the rise of Sammy Lawrence where he would take control of the projectionist and be like. The villain for this game. And do I keywood short? I have the power of the 2 I can mention for their descriptions and he would experiment with the color and like it could be a cold test and like. It do a ritual thing with the other king lord

The scary part I found at the butcher gang segment was I thought that Carly's eyes followed you, her gaze endlessly staring at you, giving an ominous feeling while in a 'safe place'. Oops someone already wrote this And I was here thinking I was unique 😭

At 4:23 when he’s reading the beast bendy bio and it mention the boss battle trope (which was done in the first game) it occurred to me that it worked really well because the plot is repeat with differences from the previous loop so for the original is to fight the monster the loop would be to become the monster! Very well done to the creators of this game!!
