I'm definitely putting Albania on my bucket list! I didn't knew anything about this country before and now I just want to go! I love the fact that It wasn't full of tourists! Thanks Christianne these vlogs were amazing!!
Sadly Ksamil is no longer the same place once was. You can see the beach umbrellas are so close to each other. It used to be a dream place. Sometimes i go back and look at pictures i took 12 years ago and compare with current situation and feel pity and anger at the same time how human being could go that far and destroy such a lovely place. Unfortunately it is not just Ksamil but most of the coastline.
Just came back from 4 weeks of holiday in Albania, my 4 weeks never enough to visit the whole country Visited tirana, durres, vlore, dhermi, stranded , ksamil, then permeti, korca, pogradec,..... stunning time over there and beautiful weather during whole of my stay that was 20th August to 17th September Waiting for next summer to go again
I enjoyed your entire Albania series... Albania seems to have it all (except caramel 🤣) the mountains. The beaches, good wine and its inexpensive! Which places were your personal favorites?
The beaches in Ksamil look lovely! I agree that a sandy beach is nicer to swim at than a rocky beach, but a rocky beach is nicer to have a picnic at since you don't get sand everywhere haha. I'm always curious to see what people eat so I'd like to see more food from your trips 😁 Loved this Albania series but I'm excited for Greece! Albania is definitely on my list now, I need to make it a priority ☺
Yey! Bravo you guys! Wonderful Albania travel series. While watching this last vlog, I decided to emulate your new found coffee drink by adding some Bailey's to my coffee as well. Lol! Safe trip to you ladies. See you in Greece! 😃👍
Thank you for these videos of my Albania. I just came back and already miss it. I wish you would go back next year and do a tour of the sandy beaches of Albania, north of Vlora. All youtubers so far have only showed the pebble beaches of the south, which are very picturesque, but this has created the wrong impression that all Albanian beaches are pebble beaches. Which is not true. In fact only one third of the Albania's 470km coastline is pebbly the rest, two thirds are amazing sandy beaches. I would recommend: Spille, Divjake (where there also is a National Park, very nice for a hike and a paddle boat outing), Darzeze, Seman, Golem, Gjiri i Lalezit, Tale, Velipoje.
Albania is such a nice place! I’ve enjoyed seeing all of the videos but Ksamil was my favorite because of the backflip. Jk. I see you have made way for a spin-off channel, Hitchhiking Bananas. I look forward to seeing that! Lol
Agreed! Especially since she stays in places not normally shown in typical travel vlogs (at least that I've found) So the food is super interesting to me. Like in Thailand and other places when she goes to the less traveled destinations, but especially countries like Albania that are overall less traveled.
What a lovely day to experience the lovely sunshine on the incredible beach ⛱, this is beautiful, it so fun to here once again, amazing people enjoying live 😀, this experience is awesome, thanks for sharing this great video.
YES! Definitely interested in food filming! Mark Weins has almost 9 million subs with his food vlogs, so the people definitely want to see the food! Thanks 💕
One of the many reasons why I like your vlogs so much is that you don’t talk as much about food compared to other travel vloggers hahah. But I would still watch you if you did! You’re vlogs are amazing and really make me excited to travel and explore new destinations, thank you :D
I am so happy you're enjoying. It looks really amazing :) As a big fun of you Christianne and your channel, i know you love hiking. Since you are so close to my country, I would also recommend you to visit North Macedonia as well. Can't say we have coast and beautiful sandy beaches as in Albania, but it has a great options for nature fans, passionate hackers, cuisine and wine culture 🥰🥰🥂
Bravo! ! Mire beni qe shkoni ne ato vende sh.te bukura dhe te virgjera. Por nuk rregullojne rruget. Dhe nuk shkon hotel I shtrejte ne rruge te shkrete....!!
Looooved the Albania series. As someone living in the Caribbean its really nice learning about these countries and experiencing it with you. I've never even heard of Albania before. Albania looks absolutely amazing and I can't choose which city/town was my favourite, they were all so beautiful.
I was literally at every beach you guys were in June. “Pema E Thate” beach means Dry Tree Beach. By the way Ksamil is not the best for nightlife Saranda has a better night life, lots of bars and clubs etc Enjoy Corfu it’s amazing. Corfu town is nice for shops and walking around, but if you are looking for a proper night life Kavos is a place to be.
I had the opportunity to meet you in person on the bus back to Saranda because I forgot my ID card at the Vodafone shop 😅 you and your friend Karen were very nice and I was very happy to meet both of you! Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹 hope to see you in my country one day 😁
Thank you for this series! Before this, I didn't know much about the Balkans or Albania. You really have shown us how lovely it is! Seeing all your swimming adventures though, I do have a question. How do you usually dry off or change? My skin gets irritated with wet clothing, or when being covered with salt for a longer period (especially the private area). I've been wondering if you just towel dry yourself and then let the air does the rest, or if you have another way of drying up. Thank you!
Ksamil is perfect if you want a pretty beach without traveling far from the center of things. You could even stay in a lovely apartment right by the beach there.
Are you still talking about greater Albania? Like you're not ashamed. And Turkey must take Albania. How would that look to you? Do you consider yourself Turks or Albanians? As far as I remember, Gjergj Kastriot Skëndërbej fought for Christianity and Albania, he fought the Ottomans many times. Albanians renounced themselves for self-interested reasons and became Muslims. Do you learn stories or hear them from other people's ears? Today, when Albanians have migrated to other countries, most of them to England, after years you will say that England also belongs to you? I'm fine with the borders as they are. They are not dumb who created them like this. Look to build your country now and leave the old things behind. Also, look to you men to educate yourself in general because you have a wealth of knowledge.
You should have gone to some underwater adventures in Jale and near Ksamil where you can explore amazing old ships under water and caves that are under water its super experience.
come to Kamena Vourla (central Greece)..It is quite a beautiful area with tavernas in front of the beach and many coffee shops. .Also in Kamena Vourla there are boats that take people to nearby islands called Likhadοnisia. .In general, it has many beaches around Kamena Vourla and combines sea and mountain....
I loved it all! I want to do everything. I love seeing your food too. It's interesting to see what is on offer in all of the different places. Would you say it is easy to get veggie/vegan food there?
