That would be a male emu with the chicks. After laying the eggs the females leave them for the male to incubate and raise the chicks. The grounds around the Brambuk Cultural Centre are teeming with wildlife around dusk.

Thanks so much for following along, I appreciate it! We have a 12 volt system with 2 x 120h AGM batteries. It’s an older camper so didn’t come with lithium :)

@@rach_mac thanks for the reply, AGM is OK , I assume you know not to drain them below 50% ... are you using solar or the car or maybe both to charge ?
