Even when the Son of God walked the earth - it was Pharisees in the synagogues (modern day representation of the church) that wanted his crucification. God says give to the poor, and go to him directly. Not some church that’s fornicating with the government for their tax exempt status, and teaching human traditions and doctrines of men as the Word of God. Read the Scriptures yourself and avoid the church buildings all together - go to King Jesus directly. No middle man is needed. God’s definition of Church is simply the Assembly of God. Always interesting to see what people are saying. For the first girl, the problem is, there’s a chasing dynamic in the first place. I generally look for people who are able to have a mutual dynamic so for me, the ideal answer from her would’ve been what I just said, that ideally people are just evaluating each other and there’s no chasing that has to happen. It’s also possible that she is just bad with language and isn’t being clear about what she means by pursuing or chasing.
