I have just turn 61 and although I cannot afford to visit your beautiful country, Route 66 always fascinated me and now I had the privilege to join you guys on this fabulous route (can take it off my bucket list) and for a bonus got see the Harley Davidson museum. Thank you guys much appreciated.

Everytime I visit Milwaukee and park my bike in front of the Juneau facility, all I think about is the generations of families that worked there, building the world's greatest motorcycle. The very building where the founders of Harley Davidson went to work everyday. Thanks guys for the look around, I never tire of the experience there.

We wish we could have seen more but only had a few days! We agree and got the same feeling about HQ. We also had Josh try cheese curds for the first time! He enjoyed that too!

Did you think about the 200 Buell Factory workers that got Fired when HD spent $125 Million to Close Buell in 2009. Erik Buell is a Genius .. ha saved HD ass in many ways.. Improved the desing of various unreliable engines and desinged the frames of some of their current bikes.. Then they Fire his ASS.. and shut Buell down .. I read they sold 100,000 Buells in 2006 ..Also HD Elimiated 400 Jobs when they shut down the Factory in KC MO ..

I enjoyed the series, thanks guys.... I rode to the museum last year didn't get a VIP personal tour but after having had been at the museum and seeing what you had videotaped gave me a better explanation. I've been enlightened by the whole trip. I'm looking forward to getting out on the road, pulling my bike out of storage tomorrow you guys are awesome thank you.

Me and my brothers made the museum, House of Harley and the motors 101 tour part of our Sturgis trip this past August. Loved seeing the Boozefighters MC section at the museum. Much love to the green & white. We left out of Memphis and did the deep dish pizza circuit on the outskirts of Chicago while en route to Milwaukee. Unfortunately the factory tours were closed down due to the Rona so that sucked. But we had a great time anyways. Museum is awesome with never ending exhibits which are frequently changed. Not sure if they told you or not but the huge 6-8 story solid grey building attached to the museum is the curator area filled with HD artifacts. Ohhhhhhh to tour that building!!! Sadly the Iron Horse hotel and all the bike nights were closed or canceled while there. Supposedly they were the place to be.

Man it sounds like you guys did it right! Those are all great stops, and the museum was really something great to see. you could spend a couple days in there and still not see every little thing. Tons of history and artifacts throughout. The Iron Horse was our favorite stay during that trip. Next time you're out there, it's highly recommended 👍 Thanks for watching Richard!

Hey Günther! Glad you liked the tour, it's definitely something every Harley rider should go see. The Iron Horse Hotel was awesome , probably our favorite hotel from the whole Route 66 run. Close to lots of local restaurants, and the rooms were very nice. We definitely have some huge HD dealerships out here! We will continue the 2LaneLife as long as we're riding🤘🏼 Thanks for the support, we will have to take you up on the offer when we make it to Europe!

Great and informative video. My buddy and I toured the Museum in 2012 during our 3,400 mile motorcycle trip. It should be on everyone's Bucket List. We ate at the Museum Restaurant while we were there. Great food and great service.

Great video guys, it brought back some great memories. I live in SW Florida now but spent the first 60 years of my life in the Milwaukee area. I loved it there but wanted to ride 12 months of the year so I moved to FL. I bought my 1st new H-D at House of Harley in the fall of 1988 and it changed my life forever. I'm still going strong after 32 years, 250K miles and 7 H-D's later. I try to ride my Street Glide Special every day!

Great series, I enjoyed all the episodes. What an amazing rich history Harley has, I ride 2016 Street Glide, only complaint I have is it's suspension and I have tried majority of after market. Hopefully Harley finally upgrades frame and puts in better suspension. My Indian Chieftain was a plush ride but didn't have any character. Harley is amazing but lacks plush ride I desire.

It would be hard to say which part of your journey was epic, because we thought all of it was. So much thanks to you guys and your effort to do the ride and put it all together. We've been to the Museum many times (never VIP though), but it's was great to see. It's like they said back in 1903, oh, let's keep some of everything because some day down the road there will be a H-D Museum. That is unreal when you think about it. Hopefully the will be able to fully open soon. We cannot wait to see your next ride. Thanks!!

Great video! I got the privilege of doing that VIP tour during the 110th Anniversary my local HOG chapter was selected to do a VIP tour. I got a special pin and ticket on a lanyard that hangs in my office. I glad you guys got to do it. Stay Safe!

Great video I am about 4 hours away from the museum the first time I went 4.5 hours just flew by been there 3 times (people want to go) if you like rally's Milwaukee's a great time on Labor Day weekend but it's busy thanks for what you guys do stay safe

superb!! makes me wanna go visit the museum now. hey, quick question. at the end of your video you had text above those two guy's heads and it moved in unison with their head movement. i can do that with adobe after effects, but I'm curious if that's a feature now in some app video editor you're using? if so, any chance you'd share the name? thanks!

Hey Michael! Thanks for watching, the museum was a great time. That was done in Premier Pro where we do all of our editing. It's just a layered text box with two rectangles underneath it to make the IG tag style shape, then they were both key-framed to keep them somewhat close to their heads. For text tracking on drone shots and all that, After Effects is the go-to!
