Exploring the Mojave Road - Part 1 

In early January I took my rig out into the Mojave Desert to explore the Mojave Road. The Mojave Road, also known as Old Government Road is a historic route across the Mojave Desert. This rough off-road trail stretches 147 miles through the desert and a 4x4 with high clearance is highly recommended.
For me it was a work trip - meaning, I set up camp in the desert, work my day-to-day job during the day and explore what the Mojave Road would have to offer. In part 1 of this 2-part video series about the Mojave road I enter the Mojave Road at Afton Canyon and work my towards an old abandoned Borax mine.
