rode the msc divina back in 2017 and really enjoyed it, the only downside was kids ride free so there was an overabundance of children. couldnt enjoy the pools very much and it also meant all the adults were packed into the adult only pool section so that was the only downside, we spent a good portion of our nights at the cigar bar that you didn't see, the bartender was amazing in there and it was an amazing area to relax and have a cocktail and cigar, also took a picture on those gorgeous stairs with my then boyfriend, now fiance and cant get over the pictures

Great video on this MSC ship, and it is always good to be open minded and see what other options are available. Being frank, your video has made us feel happy with the choices that we have made with becoming ‘Loyal to Royal’ customers, and about to commence our 5th sailing in the last 12 months on RCL. We were previously Cunard sailors, and switched to RCL due to the repeated cancellations of our sailing because of Covid. However, those that enjoy MSC no doubt enjoy the brand and all that they have to offer 😊. Cheers, J$D
Same for us we took our first RCCL cruise in 2010 and haven’t looked back since. I will say I loved Cunard though, her transatlantic crossing was cheaper than plane tickets and we had the time to spare. Great Experience. We’ve tried other lines, but royal’s price vs quality ratio can’t be beat in the industry. 21 cruises later and we’re still loyal to royal.

My brother and sister in law went on the Meraviglia, just before the pandemic, and they didn’t like it at all, they did not like the food or service! . They have to learn to serve to the American travelers. We don’t know if we want to try it. We love Royal, Celebrity and Princess! By the way the MSC Ships are beautiful!

Hi Matt & Chelsy! The Divina interiors definitely had quite a bit of shininess (Is that even a word?). It reminds me of a classic Las Vegas style. I'll be on the MSC Seashore in about 4 months. My concern mostly has to do with service. Unfortunately, with a TA tour you aren't given any ideas about that. But, my expectations are not high especially given what I'm paying for my sailing; can't complain too much. My feeling with cruises is you often get what you pay for.
I’ve sailed on all the MSC ships that have itineraries in the Caribbean and have never had an issue with service. The crew has always been wonderful. I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised. And the Seashore is shiny but I definitely got a classy vibe, not Las Vegas vibe. 😁 I think the fares are low because they are trying to get a strong foothold in the US. They can choose to do this because they don’t have stockholders to answer to. Have fun!

Thanks for the tour. Surprised that they served a mediocre meal 2 out of 3. You presume they would give there best or middle of the road. The 3 choices weren’t special in my opinion. I am sure other agents would agree with you about the foods. I imagine many won’t want to go on MSC from your video. Many are paying a lot of money even if it is for inside room but they came for all the experiences outside their stateroom. They expect their menu in MDR to better than their usual experiences back home. They will more than likely eat at the buffet because they can probably even get lobster on the cruise “lobster night”.

Thanks for the tour, with the age of the ship and last refit in 2017 how did the ship feel? New and fresh or old and musty? Did you smell smoke or see the smoking areas? We are non smokers and even the latent smell would ruin it for us
Hi Tim H.! The ship was in pretty good shape. Not ultra pristine (we noticed some rust in a few spots) but not bad at all! We did not notice any smoke smells when we walked through, even in the casino. We aren't ultra sensitive to smoke smell but we didn't notice an odor at all. We hope this helps!
