Really enjoyed this. I've been on the Epic twice and think she is a great ship. She's got lots of quirks for sure. However the venues are so large. The lines you experienced were crazy. I never experienced things like that but I cruised Epic before the "free" drinks package. So happy to see you guys exploring and enjoying your retirement.
Motion sickness is the worst! The sea bands help a lot, and I try to put them on before we start sailing. But sometimes the seas are so rough that you just have to get through it. However, I will still travel despite that and I hope you will too. Thanks for watching.
Good video. We were on the Norwegian Epic in February 2023. While the ship is relatively new, there are significant problems that will impact your cruise. First, we really disliked the set up of the toilet and the shower in the stateroom. It was OK as we traveled as a couple but had I brought a friend, there was a total lack of privacy. Second, the entertainment venues on the Epic are small for a ship that size. If the ship is crowded, those venues are often filled an hour before the performance. We did not like the service on the ship but that is another issue.
