The reason for making multiple houses is that the full process for making a villager with a house takes more than a day, so making more houses allows you to make villagers faster.

Once that giant battle started it was just absolute chaos in the most hilarious way. It seemed like the game sped up like 5x and just threw the cards around the screen so you had no choice but to continue. 😂😂

I enjoyed the first part of this series so much that I bought the game and played it all the way through 😅 We play Very differently, but I enjoy seeing other ways of approaching the game. I worry a bit about replay value, but they are coming out with updates soon. I'm REALLY hoping that they come out with a feature where when you double click a card you summon/stack all the same types of cards. I was constantly wishing I could just insta-stack my onions or something.
def worth the $5 on itchio , since it dropped on Steam I grabbed it again to support ; very pleased that it recognized my achievements from the itchio version and gave me 12 achievements when it loaded lol - loving the games you keep showing off, def keeping an eye on this series to learn stuff I havent figured out, the poop card / carrots is new to me
I wonder can you avoid death by making a baby or two with houses since the monsters don't seem to go after them? Would be a nice way to make the monsters meaningful while not risking progress too much.
Fruit salad is better than the berry and the apple because it has two more coin than both combined, and it is only one card against your limit. Berries should always be combined with any milk first, or apples if you run out of milk. Also, if you ever have food that's mostly eaten, sell it before it disappears. A milkshake with a bite taken out of it is still worth five coin! The militia is slower at exploring than a villager, but being a militia he's better able to deal with monsters that he finds while exploring.
You seriously find some of the most interesting little games. Some of my favorite ones you've played that I would never have heard of otherwise would be this and that island card survival game. Thanks for digging for the little gems out there, Reto!
Feeding your village with no effort: 1> Build Animal Pen (or two for 10 or more villagers) 2> fill it with Chickens (breed more chickens if needed) 3> Place Stove (or Campfire if you don't have a stove) Near the Animal Pen 4> When first eggs appear, place them on Stove As long as all of the eggs do not completely cook before the next eggs spawn in, the new eggs should drop on top of the existing ones (already on stove), creating an infinite supply of food that requires no effort to farm or cook. If you find yourself with too many omelettes or eggs, just sell the extras
Best food supply loop I have found. Chickens. Use the egg it lays on a chicken to make more chicken. Then with about 8 chickens you start cooking the eggs. 2egg on fire or stove = omelets. I have been feeding my 10 villager game with just 2 stoves cooking just eggs.
@@mysticmallachi777 well, there is the total number of gold coins at the top. Stacks seem to max out at 20, although I had a 32 stack once somehow (probably a bug).
Just found you a bit ago in the first episode and I enjoy this, and I keep thinking that you need to build a warehouse but I’m sure in the next episodes you do 😂
8:30 honest question retromarion, Idk how this game works but unless the villagers have “special” traits or skills that the militia doesn’t have. What was your game plan for having 1 or 2 militia instead 4. If the militia, can do everything the villagers can, why not have four villagers with spears instead of 1 or 2?
I feel more often than not you keep way too many carrots for no reason and get rid of more valuable ressources Also you should get more humans with all that food. Would have prevented the fights disasters
@@demascus3vods I see. After reading your comment it did seem plausible that it'd work like that but I think each step in growing food just decreases the time it takes, poop being the slowest and farm being the fastest.

I know you’re not gonna see this but, you sold the wood to get the spear then when you defeated the enemies they dropped a spear and that’s a load of my chest and I’m very sorry to have written this
surprised you didn't go for making more warehouses. its clear you need a lot of those. you sold so many things. you also had the materials to make about three more warehouses. this would allow you to hold all the cards and have much less stress about what you are doing.
I mean, the problem he was facing was that he didn't have any iron bars. Thus an entire episode that may as well have been called "Scramble for the smelter" lol
Needed iron bars to do so as I mentioned a bunch in the episode. At some point I possibly should have just gone for sheds but the time, and resources required for +4 at this point felt like a massive waste. Had I realized how long it would take to find Iron I may have anyways though, but that's rng for ya!
