What a great new social infrastructure project, which will lead to lower stress levels, better health, greater longevity, and increased opportunities for social interaction, for those who will use it.

I cannot wait. I had to promise to stop biking into work in Richmond from Glen Allen (Laurel Park) area. This will let me bike into work again!

Cool that you know where the trail goes but VDOT keeps telling residents that may have this trail cut through our yards that "There’s no formal trail plan has been determined.." Looking forward to learning more.

I am all for it. Is it really a “trail” if it’s paved?

great project! I have gone through many of those areas before on bike... hoping they leave it unpaved for gravel cyclists and trail runners... even if its just temporarily

Chesterfield County resident here… love the idea however would love for it to stay in its natural state and not paved. We have ridden horses for years on this railroad bed and would love for it to stay as natural as possible!

Love the video but I was wondering if someone could walk (not literally) me through the area in the video from Branch Creek until Potterfield Bridge I am looking at the map but I am still a little confused.

If you are a bike and like forest trails or gravel/dirt is Hanover county the best one to live in for access? I know about Pochohantes and others but Hanover looks very nice. Any suggestions?
