rolled fingerboard edges should be standard on every single guitar. its not a feature, its a requirement.

I got a player strat a few years ago and have loved it since. Maybe its time to pick up a tele now that the player II series is out. I've always wanted a tele.

Wish I could easily afford these instruments but since my country dealing with huge inflation and stuff it's just a dream to have brand new strat. maybe one day.

Few months back I bought Player Plus Strat with maple finger board and I am thinking to buy a Telecaster but could not decide which model. Now this new series arrive making me easy to get informed decision. So I think I should go for Player 2 series Telecaster. I hope this new Telecaster model makes me happy and less chance of post buying regret. Thanks.

Lovely new colors and Rosewood is back! If I needed a new Strat over my Player 1 series Strat this would be a no brainer. Pau Ferro doesn’t bother me aesthetically and with CS69 pickups in mine I couldn’t ask for more.❤ Rolled fingerboard edges should just be standard though across everything just my take. It’s not a feature. Well done regardless Fender.

I have recently decided to come back to the guitar after twenty years without playing. As a kid, Fender and Gibson were the dreams I could not afford, so when I saw a beautiful acoustic Fender Highway a few months ago, I had to get one. I fell in love with that guitar, and it has been a great way for me to relearn how to play. The nice experience motivated me to consider fulfilling the dream of getting a Fender Strat, and the Player II seemed like a great starting point to own an actual Fender, not a budget copy or a cheap Squier. I got mine last week, but I must say I am very disappointed. I expected a Fender to be ready to play out of the box (I bought it online from a certified seller in Europe). The action was crazy high, the thrust rod needed adjustment, the intonation was way off, the bridge was not floating, the pickup height was a mess, there were course frets... I spent hours trying to adjust it, replaced strings, got a measuring kit to help, but I could not get it right. Eventually, I gave up and took it to the luthier, who had to cut a couple of bridge springs to get the intonation right, and he also had to sand the nut and shim the arm to get the action right. It is finally the instrument I was hoping for, but I must say the whole experience has been an example of "never meet your idols". I had my share of cheap guitars and expected to be blown away with a new Fender. What I did not expect was to need a luthier for the first time in my life, as none of my cheapos ever required one.

Arianna Powell just has such a magic touch with the guitar. could recognize her playing anywhere.

I hope you make the necks sold separately like every series created by Fender, I want a new rosewood neck without busting the bank. I don't like these colors so these new necks mounted on the "old" deluxe fender body I think are a perfect match.

I understand the single coil and humbucker pickups in the Player II strats are the same as the ones in the original Player series?

Been looking for a while for either a black Strat with rosewood fretboard or a black Tele with a rosewood fretboard. Prices are too high if you are lucky to find a decent used one within budget. Had high hopes with the announcement of the new Player II with rosewood fretboards. Until I saw the offerings. Fender: why no black/single coils/rosewood fretboard option???

I picked up a Player series Strat last month. I really liked it, but yesterday at my son’s urging I A/B’d with the Player II Strat. I traded the Player in, it wasn’t even in the right neighborhood

Wish I could get that birch green on the American Pro II Strat. Like that one better than the mystic surf green. Dope lineup regardless.

These surely are superior to the early Strats that Hendrix , Clapton and Blackmore played on.Theirs didn't have rolled fingerboard nor upgraded hardware. Surely build quality has improved from the late 60s?

How are these things compared to the older MIM from the early 2000's? I owned the Artic White in 2003, and it was one of the most comfortable guitars I have ever owned.

its funny how whenever I buy a fender strat, the saddle screws always seem to stick out and are never flush like in these videos... I wonder why that is....

These are so cool! I would love to grab one, but how do I choose!

I've tried in 2 shops quite a few player 2 strats rw fretboard and while the fretboard, rolled edges and fretwork look and feel great I am not going to buy one Fender because every player 2 strat with rosewood I played had a thinner neck profile that the first run player series with pau ferro fretboard which I also own in a plus top! Every player series 1 strat with pau ferro was consistently slightly thicker in the neck profile compared to the new player 2 strat with a rosewood board. Why Fender screw up something that was great???? What the .....!!!
