Bro I know education is nothing to do wit language but English imagine English English is one of the most basic common needed language in the whole universe! We people didn't take English as language we take it as subject which in every school teaches!! But y mizo people only have those problems 😆
@@user-yy2nz6rn7zyea many of us do speak English especially those who have it as a 2nd language..... But majority of us have to learn mizo(Duhlian) language after our own tribes langauge like if ur hmar or lai or paite etc.... for most of us English can even be 3rd or 4th language if growing up in a govt institutions..... Leaning Hindi is much more challenging for us with this case.... But yes..we like Thai, korean, or chinese or japanese have deep sence of cultural pride over our langauge.......we will not be like arunachal or tripura who replaced our langauge with alien languages....
@@Rohlua07 Japanese thing are different don't compare your state with other country now I understand u guys take English for granted which is OK it's your choice! But bro let me remind u that just like u guys morely focus on mizo subject focus on English too for your state development! Btw don't take it personal 🙂
The reason Mizoram is one of the most educated states is that they know how to read and write their own language. It's not about speaking English, if people who thinks speaking English = educate (advance) they're totally wrong. Some are using Google and they thinks they are the smartest 😂😂😂😂

If Reuben being a mizo would have not grown up in Arunachal Pradesh or any other part of India for that reason, he wouldnt have showcased the cultural affinity. Really inspiring how he treated you. Its your aura, that attracts positivity and positive people. Keep going brother. Lots of love and warm regards.
comment section complain about mizo being not good in english but i am confuse, am i watching the same video, because bro didn't have any issue in communicating. Some of them couldn't get what he said immediately because they are not familiar with his accent.
Got a new subscriber.. Keep us updated on your journey ahead.. I like the way you respect the culture of every city you've visited.. Have a safe journey bro
I've visited mizoram twice or thrice now, i am not very familiar with the culture yet but one thing i cant help but notice is that it is so congested as it is a hilly area despite all of that the people living there are so patient, kind hearted, loving and caring to the people who are new. Especially the whole vehicle no horn policy. I would love to visit mizoram sooner or later. I hope you enjoy your stay there. ✊
@@Kaisen671 Brother that same amount of money will last you about 10-15 years in Mizoram 💀, thats actually good. And a whole lifetime in the village or hilly rural areas.
Our food would be quite bland as a taste for foreigners but as a mizo we like trying to get as much natural taste in our foods in most of them and enjoy the natural umami flavor to get the best out of it , but after the introduction of Ajinomoto (MSG) in the 90's , msg is popular in our dishes but that doesn't apply to all familes and people living here as there are still a lot of people who still make dishes the old traditional way , Thanks for visiting Mizoram 👍
Love your video❤️ and thank you for highlighting mizoram in a very beautiful way.. its true we mizo find it very hard to get along with people but then once when we get comfortable we treat everyone like a family.. talking about the food, i being a mizo don't like some of the food too😂 anyway...plz pay a visit again to some other districts too and I'll be happy to help you explore.... ❤️

Guys please know the difference between being educated and literated and please stop arguing about spoken english. Spoken english comes down to practice, since we usually don't have alot of tourist/visitors due to our location and ILP (Inner Line Permit) . So the need to use of english is rare hence the lack of practice.
Welcome to Mizoram. Today, the teens of Mizoram can speak very well in English. Whom you've met in the shop like the one at Sanpiau shop would not be educated because she might be from the other side of Mizoram (east) side. The educated are at schools, offices etc., and we use one language i.e Mizo language, and at the offices English and Mizo is used too. So, I hope you understand the present Mizo people now. Luckily, the two wheeler taxi driver could speak in English, cause he might have studied upto cl X or XII or maybe a graduate. One reason is that, we are not mixed up with some other tribes from North East India like other states. I've studied in Patkai Christian College, Dimapur Seithekima. I have many Naga friends. Those that I still remember were Benjamin Hollohon (L) and Daniel Hollohon (L), they are from Dimapur, we used to study in Bangalore, Bishop Cottons Boys School in the 80's. They were the sons of Hollohon (Ex Minister), I don't know whether he's kicked the buket or not. They are of Sema tribe.
Hello. I’m Daniel and Benjamin’s niece. Uncle Daniel passed away in 2012 and Grandpa passed away in 2021. Hope everything is good for you and your family 😊
So most japanese beauricrats and scientist were uneducated in ur opinion... Zirna thiamna hi tawng chauh anilo... Tawng te chu a peng khat ve chauh ani
@@vilomi7436 Oh !! So sad to hear this news... I knew that they passed away from some friends, but not the year. I was their classmates in 4th Std, Bangalore, Bishop Cottons Boys School. One thing I still rememebr was that, " Once they got dog meat from home..." It was so delicious, and our friends wanted to eat too. Then one by one, each of them ate dog meat without anyone knowing it....🤣🤣🤣😂😂...Daniel was kind and friendly ... I came to Dimapur in 93' Patkai Christian College, but left as i was suffering from typhoid...I miss Dimapur. We used to swim in Chate River near the college...it was hot and humid there ....
Good lord, the street food vendors got such a serious, cold face 😭 as an introvert i would be lowkey terrified to ask for extra sauce or salt something
Yes, we are more advanced than many States in India...we are able to learn in our own Mizo language while many states are not able to translate maths in their own local language 😅...so can understand better and do better
@Mamuanilalvawng-jo5ut it would be nice if a software developer can come up with a English to mizo translation app. It would be nice for the visitors. Or maybe mizos are not really fond of visitors🤐
@@user-ws8my7zx7g it is depends on your attitudes to every culture. Mizo culture is a free culture able to adjust ourselves with every culture in any state and countries and people. Come and experience by yourself but your attitude is important. If you are negative minded...you will have a negative experience.
We love duhlian language so much, that why many of us dont know English. Also your English accent is hard to hear from Mizo. Mizo English accent is different from others state.

Visited mizoram last year and starve the whole 2 days trip because of the food 😂 I went from one place to another to get good authentic mizo food it’s very bland, overall i really like the people and environment I would love to live there. Just one thing food is the problem 😅❤
I don't really like majority of our traditional foods either xD you should try as much as possible so u can have ur favs cuz the foods they serve at restaurant does not even cover half the dishes. Try watching either from RU-vid cooking or IGs
Yeah other Zo tribes living outside of Mizoram also make fun of their bland spiceless food. I once had a pork Hotpot in Vairengte, gave me a headache. 😂
Would've loved to take you around if I was in mizoram 😂 and if I had known ofc, I get that u must've felt lonely as an outsider, hope you enjoyed your stay tho
Quite informative & engaging video, Tia 💕 Wishing you more success & smiles 😀🪬 Hope your further trips are filled with even more adventures & memorable moments 🍀🤝 P. S. Tbh momos here in mizoram are not so good comparing to the other states in India... I've experienced it... It's been 4 years I've lived here now and i don't find momo which i can say is best found here, but you'll find some which taste a bit fine.
