Hi Steve the fledgling robin is getting stuck in to those meal worms.🤤 Cat's are everywhere in my garden too, poo everywhere and dead pigeons, 3 so far.👍💪🙏
Hungry little so and so's LOL They are gradually getting used to dry mealworms now but only come by now and then, which is good! Get them out into the modern world haha
Hi Steve, I have watches your last 3 video in reverse order 😂 brilliant idea on the easier filling of small pots 👍 wow! My Dad had a pale blue capri, and we loved it! Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
Hi Steve seeing the car brought back memories for sure of rear end slides fun , So when had to get more sensible car I did but also got my motor bikes for the fun .
Hiya Steve. Enjoyed your mish mash video today. You must have blinded folk with those modified headlights on your Capri and deafened yourself with the sound system. Blue Monday - nice! You sure have utilised the space in your vegepod. Shame the local moggies are soiling your beds. They must think it’s catmas with all the litter opportunities. Take care. Mags
Cheers Mags. The problem the cats have in my cul de sac is that only 2 houses have a planted front garden. The rest are all paviors and grass. A choice of 2 toilets LOL. Yes the car was bright and LOUD - I had to get rid of it as my kids were getting too big to fit in. It was either the car or them 😂
Morning Steve good video update I have stopped the cats in my garden home made chilli powder 🥵 just like the rabbits they have not come back have a good weekend 👍🥔🌱
Funny you shoud mention chilli, Robert. I have a box of old spice powders that I use on the plot to deter pigeons so I'll put some in the beds at home too! Knowing my luck they will like it LOL
I've struggled to find information on the garleeks too Steve haha! I've done the same thing. Treated them like leeks and hoping for the best lol ! Those bullhorn Tom's sound good. May try them next year. Cheers for the update matey. Danny 🌱
Hi Steve Another great update 👍👍 will not be long now before the shows start. When I was younger I always wanted a Capri or a Citroen DS 22 (think that was the model) but unfortunately I never got either. 👍👍👍👍👍
My dream car as a new driver was the Viva GT. Even rust bucket versions go for £10k now! Yep, first show on the 30th June: berkeleyshow.co.uk/ Don't forget, if there's not enough room for all the seaweed in the car, the Mrs can always get the train home! 😂😂(off to hide now!)
Have you ever tried plastic forks tines up in the beds to stop the cats? I know you've tried a lot of things over the years. Orange rinds have worked for me in the past.but I think you said it only worked for a week. My Garleeks are finally hitting their stride...spurred on by the rains. I have standing water in the yard...but not complaining as I'll be watering daily soon enough with the predicted heat.
Good news with the Garleeks, Robin. The problem with ant cat deterrent (them being slightly intelligent LOL) is that they get used to anything put down pretty quick - I am now going outside to scatter chilli powder, not used for a few weeks!
it seems the magpie has young in a nest judging by how many meal worms it had in it's beak. the only drawback is all the crow family are messy eaters. i could sit and watch them all day........................brian
I loved Capri cars it was the best shape ever at that time- were you a boy racer as well! I am amazed that a cat would climb on netting as I don’t think they would like the texture, you will have to lie I. Wait and squirrels done water from hose on them they wouldn’t like that and it might deter them for a bit. Quick Q did you use a specific app/program for sketching your plot out? 😊
I've had a few Capris in my time so I guess I was a boy racer LOL A JPS Capri, a mk2 3 litre, a mk3 1.6LS with a gas flowed head etc and mk3 3.5 litre V8. No, I just mapped it all out on an excel spreadsheet, Bea. Have a great week!
Oh no, I love cats but that must be so frustrating, it's weird they are poohing on the netting, I would have thought the texture would have put them off, you must have really annoyed that cat!! Veggie pod looking great, those peas are fab. Take care
I think the problem with Jiffy 7s is that there are fake ones out there that are rubbish. I had the same problem, the roots couldn't break through. Morale of the story, buy from a reputable source.
