Hey Brad, if you add the _embed parameter to your posts requests (/wp-json/wp/v2/posts?_embed) that adds new properties to the post object containing the featured image url like this: post._embedded['wp:featuredmedia']['0'].source_url, and the author data also, so you don't have to make an extra fetch to the server

Nice way to add backend to a react project. How would this work with a crawler? Am I missing something or the content wouldn't be there to get rendered when the bot crawls the page?

Hey Brad (or anyone reading this comment), quick question. When you make the GET request, instead of HTTP, I tried using https and I'm getting an error, any idea how I can fix this? It's a Nginx error for serving mixed content.

Hey Brad, This was really helpful but I am stuck in a situation where I have a menu say Book and a submenu with (say) 5 books with their links. Now, when I am on root page and navigate to /book/1 I see the data. But then when I navigate to /book/2 I still see the old data of book 1 until I refresh the page. In short the URL parameters changes from 1 to 2 but the data don't change until page is refreshed. Note: I am not using Go Back link but using the submenu to navigate through all books. Can help please?

The problem is... Wtih this... I am facing is.. when there are large amount of post like.. 300 posts... It's not fetching the data in one part i have to send a response to get to the WordPress pagination then show.. the data... For that it is taking too much time.. to load the page.. like 10-12 sec which is unacceptable to the use how can I fix this ? Need help..
