An overlooked city for sure. Would recommend a stopover here at the least. A short walk south to visit the Toyama City Office (great free views) and Toyama Castle. A short walk north to visit Kansui Park. Plenty of options to explore.

I usually do enjoy your videos a lot, but this is a criticism. Assuming this is an attempt to bring tourists from Takayama, which is already a very popular destination for them, to Toyama city, I wonder if those three things, Sushi lunch, River cruise and the museum with cute animal figures are enough for them to make a detour though the video is well done as usual. You did an excellent video with Raina to show mountainous regions of Toyama, but this seems not to be very convincing at least to me. BTW I am still waiting for you to visit Kyushu and Shikoku.

Why do all Japanese sushi chefs use the dirty kitchen towel to wipe their knives before cut the sushi? They use that white kitchen towel to wipe the table they use to prepare sushi!!! I don't eat sushi because I always get bad stomach problem from that dirty white kitchen towel..
