In this video you will find clips of our walk and drive tour through Curacao. I must admit that our tour guide's authenticity as he spoke passionately about his island was indeed commendable and would 10/10 recommend him to anyone who may visit.
It was really refreshing to learn that the natives still maintained their "courting tradition" where the gentleman suitor is expected to at least own a "piece of land" before going to the lady's father to request for her hand in marriage.
We learnt so much during his 3 hour drive ... Did you know that iguanas are "deaf" and as such as easily "picked up" when they lay on the ground to digest their food?
