It is nature at its finest. Walking in the woods is so serene and peaceful. Robert you are so blessed and fortunate to have Old Byrd Farm. There are so many in this world who would trade a life time to have that peace and tranquility that only nature can give. We know how much you treasure and value that land. Thank you for letting us walk with you Robert!

When I was younger and we lived in Georgia, I used to love nothing as much as riding my horse through the woods! There is something about the way Georgia woods smell and the trees were always lovely and varied. This really took me back! Thank you!

Here it comes, old GI War Story: Winter of '79 I was working as a missile security controller in North Dakota. The outside wind chill was -60 and the entire missile wing was at a standstill. Inside a heated building, it was -1. But anyway ... taking a break from what needs doing and doing what you want is still getting stuff done.

Beautiful walk in the woods! Looking forward to spring here so it will be green and warm again. It was 1 degree here this morning with wind chill of -15. We aren’t in the south, and I don’t like this weather! Hope you can save all those trees-it’s so pretty with the sun shining through them. Such a nice guy to think of others with the firewood and to care about all the woodland creatures and not take their habitat. I always feel better about the day when I see The Old Byrd Farm - it takes me back to growing up on my Granddad’s farm. Thanks for the walk around!

For a onetime situation, you might consider renting a drum mulcher attachment for your tractor. The machine will save hundreds of hours in clearing the land and help you see all of the structures and give you much better view of your property. Fence in some areas and put hogs on each area for a few months and it will be verdant and fresh in one season.

I just don't know how to express the enjoyment I get watching the wisteria say bye bye. I hope you keep warm. It looks like a major part of the US is going to be cold. We are at 2 degrees right now, but that isn't that unusual for some time in the winter. I do feel so bad for all those who are having problems keeping warm. It look like we will get near freezing by Monday, so it will get better for you too. Take care and thanks for the walk.

I Love the property on the Old Byrd Farm. Great that you were able to collect some firewood for your neighbors, that might need it come the colder temps there, and also was cutting some more westeria as well, always a joy to see more of that cut and freeing some beautiful tress of it all, on your property. and during the colder months best time to do it. Great video Robert! enjoyed it.

This was a fun day following you around cutting down some dead trees for fire wood. Wondering, can’t you burn a lot of those big wisteria vines? Ever since I’ve watched you on the OBF from the beginning I’ve come to hate wisteria. What terrible damage they can do to a good tree trying to grow n they choke them out. Bad wisteria!! Well kiddo stay warm that cold front is coming in. Here in Florida it’s gonna be cold tomorrow too. Oh, by the way. I like your watch. Christmas present? ♥️♥️😊👍👍👍🐶🐶👏👏
