Explosions in the Sky @ Starlight Ballroom 

This video is still amazing after all these years. I think I've contributed at least a good 500 views to this. I introduced a co-worker to this band and I said I envy the fact that you'll be listening to them for the first time.

this is one of the most memorable videos I've ever seen

One of my friends died unexpectedly. This was one of his favorite songs. The band is coming to our city this summer and I wish he could've been there alongside me. He used to play this song on his laptop (this very same link) when I was around & I can't stop listening now. RIP my dear friend.

Watched a million live music videos and even all these years later, one of the most passionate performances I've ever seen.

Absolutely incredible and passionate performance by a band who lives up to these two adjectives constantly. The Moon is Down is one of their best moments too. I loved seeing Munaf with the e-bow and beating the shit out of the tambourine XD.

It's 2022 and this is where I come to elevate my inspiration on melody guitar. Thank you Munaf Rayani.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this video, everyone's comments already hit the nail on the head. I love coming back to this. These guys are a treasure and I love seeing how much they are moved by their creation. Their music moves me, not only because of how good it is, but because you can feel the energy they feel, that they created this goodness and it moves them too.

I've seen ALOT of bands play live. And this is easily in the top 3 of the best live performances that I have ever seen. There aren't a lot of bands out there that have figured out that there is a "mood" to be set in each different crowd. And if you're not doing that, then you might as well be lip-syncing. Explosions In The Sky, King's X, Government Mule, Pearl Jam. They are fucking-rare gifts that I think we are INSANE to take for granted if we do-so.

when i saw EITS play this song in san fransisco munaf was hitting the tambarine so hard that it broke into a million pieces and he cut his hand and was bleeding everywhere the whole show. it was totally post-rock.

You should have saw them this year. They were touring all over the place. They won't be touring again for awhile, unfortunately. I'm so glad I was able to see them.
