I first discovered it after I graduated in highschool around year 2012. Now, more than 10 years had passed, I'm already a lawyer and battling adult life, I still come back to this. It brings back memories of when I was still young. This is a masterpiece.

Words cannot explain how difficult was for me to overcome all my depression and anxiety problems throughout the years and specially since my lifelong best friend commited suicide a few years ago... I still come here frequently because he was the person who introduced me to this cover and he told me that it helped him find a little hope and peace during his darkest moments and depression episodes (eventually he gave up) But even to this day I feel like this is the only "thing" that sometimes helps me ease the pain of those sad memories... Now, me? I live a wonderful life with the woman of my dreams and I play this tune to our baby boy before he goes to sleep almost every night ...to anyone out there reading this..DON'T EVER GIVE UP ON LIFE, THERE'S PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU AND CARE FOR YOU...at the end of the day, the sun will always come out again to warm ALL OF US. Heard this beautiful tune on acoustic in 2013. Learned it up to the middle (where the serious finger stretching begins) and finally got to the end in 2023 (video on my channel). Oh my goodness, it's been 10 years!
It's a difficult song to play no doubt since it rolls 3 guitars into one. There are tabs, and he plays it pretty well so just watch what he does and use your ear. Worked for me.

this makes me feel nostalgic of my highschool even though im still in highschool. its like you're in school just to visit it again. but then you decided to roam around the campus as well couz youre there. you remembered every chase in the hallways. every laugh in every room. the way you used to play in a field. it made you feel nostalgic.
Enjoy those days while you can and be good to everyone. It goes by quick, there are times when I realize I'm not exactly young anymore and I'm just shocked. All of my old classmates have been getting married and having kids and for a few years now. It really goes by fast.
This song reminds me of waking up at 4am just to make it to morning practice and the smell of fresh cut grass, knowing i would have to do all over again in the afternoon in 100 degree weather just for the 8 nights I would get to share with my best friends running out onto a field lit by lights surrounded by a crowd full of screaming teenagers. It may sound crazy to anybody who hasn't been through it but I'd give anything to have those days back, just to be able to put my pads back on.
Friday Night Lights has inspired me so much. I watched the movie before then this past summer I watched the Tv show while training for 7th grade football (Yeah I live in Texas) Football became more to me. It is a Lifestyle and brotherhood, It's an amazing sport.
Shoot I remember being on the field for practice at 5:45 in the morning while the stars were still out during two a days. I can’t say I miss the practices but playing with your childhood friends is really what it was all about

the ending is amazing, I have no words to describe it. Now I'm able to play the normal version, 3 minutes long more or less, but when I heard this one, I think that I will never be able to play like him. Thanks for showing us that is possible to play the full version with one guitar! amazing!!
