Yo there should be a mine item which you can place on any surface (like ice and honey) but there's a button untop of the mine item when someone boops it it will explode but like not the damage kind of explosion just destroying items(like bombs)...so basically there should be an item that like a bomb that you can active in game now you can really put these explosions to use and it would be hella fun... having a checkpoint item would also be neat...
Quick question: is the Switch version gonna have the software to record the last 30 seconds or not? Cause it would be really cool to be able to record those unbelievable moments

Hey, is there any update on the certification of the game? You said it could take from 2 to 8 weeks. Since the certification process started 5 weeks and 4 days have passed. So the 8 weeks should be over by March 12. I’d like to know if Nintendo has told you anything.
So next week officially the 8 weeks end, I really hope the switch trailer gets released next week. We are close to the year since it was announced to come, This has been difficult, I hope you deliver next week as I’m starting to lose hopes of this happening, for all I know it’s coming 2019 - 2020. Was suppose to launch mid 2017 and it’s already reaching mid 2018. Clever Endeavor please move it quick, I’ve been promoting the game across the internet and I’ve built some hype for people and don’t want them too start losing hope too. I expect a release date real soon. Can’t wait no more
We've run into a number of issues, some of which we've outlined in our blog post here: www.cleverendeavourgames.com/blog/2018/2/19/fgbj69edfrmj9272z73zxbxugh7daz We recently uncovered some more issues which are causing even more delays... please understand that it's not our choice when the game comes out on Switch, it's a function of how quickly we can get all the different software to play well together, fix all the bugs caused by trying to get this software to play well together, and solve problems that we've never seen and that no other Switch developers have found the solutions to either. We're as frustrated as you are, trust me! We've got all hands on deck and have had all hands on deck for months now, and we'll keep working till it's out.
The certification process never started the first time! We were close and uncovered some things, then we got close and uncovered more things, and hopefully we're close now but we're not sure still.
Clever Endeavour Games That explains a lot, I always thought that Ultimate Chicken Horse wasn’t the type of game that would take more than 2 weeks to complete certification. Hope you fix all your bugs, I used to be a developer and one bug completely torn apart my almost complete game, took me years to make the game and in the end it collapsed so I know the frustration of getting rid of bugs. I give you my regards and lots of luck.
I would like to add a penguin, a panda, a koala, a pig, a fox and a cow, I would like those characters and I would also like a trap that would be a bucket full of lava that goes up and down
Well not quite. We haven't submitted to certification yet, so we don't know what problems may come up from that. We feel now like we're pushing ahead well with the crashes that we've identified, but honestly we don't know what might pop up. Ok, so on what I just read the Switch version is coming really early 2018. Of course I'd want it sooner but I expected the Switch version to have other features that the other versions don't need. I understand it's taking this long and if it didn't we wouldn't be getting the incredible piece of art that this amazing team has been working on nonstop. Thanks for your efforts Clever Endeavor Team, I will be waiting anxiously.
Ok so it's been a over a month since the game came out on the other 2 platforms, and like 5 or 6 months since it was supposed to come out on all platforms. If you could give us an estimate on when YOU think the certification process should be complete. Cause it's taking way too long and I'm holding on to the hype train for this, it's just you've got us here with NO estimate, it just feels like it's never gonna happen. This is a game most of us want but as you may know money ain't infinite and A LOT of incredible games are coming out, now I'm trying to hold my horses and keep the money for this game instead of buying something else. It's real difficult to hold money for a game we don't even know if it's coming soon when there are tons of great games just there to be bought. I'm sorry but one can hold on for so long. I'd like just an estimate on when you think it's coming so that we can have hope, from my point of view it's been held back since June and it certainly looks like it's not coming over for a reallyyy long time. Please give us a little estimate on your opinion alone, you don't have too promise it will come out that date, but just your thinking on it. Thank you
Flipdew Well, we're finishing up testing and hoping to send it out for certification this week or next. The problem is that we've heard some people pass certification in 2 weeks, others in 8 weeks. As you can probably understand, we don't want to release a date or estimate because if we say "February" and then the process takes 8 weeks, people will get mad at us. We would have liked to be out on all consoles in the summer 2017... That was the plan, but it was our first time porting a game to consoles and there were a lot of things that came up. In terms of keeping your money for this vs something else, that's totally up to you. If you want to play something right away and don't want to wait, go for it. We appreciate your interest in the game and hopefully you can get the game later. We've just got to get the game certified, the whole process on Nintendo started later than the other ones because the console came out so much later than the competing consoles. So nothing in particular really, just timing that didn't work out.

Now that I think about it, it's really weird that the switch version doesn't have an exact release date. Unless they are stalling for tomorrow's Nintendo Direct.
We don't want to release a date that we aren't 100% sure we can keep. We're still in the testing / certification process, which can be long and isn't fully in our control. Once we're sure everything is set, then we'll announce our release date so that we don't disappoint people in the future.

Yep, and it still is! The reason it's "as soon as possible" is that there are a lot of things we aren't in control of, so even though we've worked as hard as we can, we still have to wait!
