The margarita mixer serving is 13g of sugar in a 2oz portion and the jalapeno limeade is 23g of sugar in an 8oz. The margarita mixer would be 52g of sugar for the same serving size as the limeade. Just wanted to share that tidbit if you're watching your sugar intake. Thanks for another great haul video!
Brown butter cookies or brown butter Rice Krispie treats are to die for 😍 The little speckles are browned milk fat/solids. Almost a caramelized/toffee flavor when used in baked goods. Sooo yummy 🤤
Hi Katie! it seems like jalapeno limeade one has way less sugar per serving. your fav margarita mixer has 13 per 2 oz while jalapeno one has 23 per 8 oz if I have seen it correctly.

I got LASIK years ago in the early morning... They sent me home afterwards, told me I'd sleep for three hours (which I did), and then I was good to go. I had to do the recovery stuff but I physically felt great and could see perfectly right away so hopefully you won't need much recovery food. Good luck!!!
Hi Katie! The flecks in the brown butter are the milk solids (that turn brown when you make brown butter), they are in regular butter but you can't really see them when you just melt it. With brown butter there is a nuttier flavor and if added in cookies it almost gives it a butterscotchy taste!
@@KatieHespe Brown butter is also used in things like gravy’s and jambalaya. Brown butter just gives dishes a more smoky and intricate flavor! Hopefully this helps 🥺💗
I had brown butter and sage cheese ravioli in a very nice restaurant and it was delicious! You could buy a fresh sage and brown it and put it in the dish 💕
I haven’t tried the brown butter yet but I make my own homemade ghee with Kerri gold from cosco and when the butter cooked down on medium heat the milk solids sink to the bottom and get brown that’s what ghee is butter without milk solids so it’s milk solids lol

Roast carrots, mix that brown butter with a very small amount of brown sugar and some garlic and toss the carrots with that and some thyme. Also great with gnocchi and sage leaves. I don't mind at all when there are not commercials. Hope you're recovering well and feeling good!
Just an fyi, the serving size for the margarita mix is only 2 fluid ounces, vs the limeade which is 8 fluid ounces. So the margarita mix ends up being way higher in sugar.
You gotta try the Brazilian cheese bread! And ice cream bon bons. Oh and the vanilla and chocolate macarons! And the almond butter pretzels. Those are my obsessions right now. I had lasik years ago! Got it at night also and couldn’t even open my eyes but went to bed and woke up and could see clearly! Hope all went well, can’t wait to hear about your experience 🥰
Have you noticed a change with the chocolate covered peanut butter pretzels? They used to be my absolute FAVORITE but the last bag I bought (in the new packaging) was not the same at all.
I like the Trader Joe's margarita mixer for making Cadillac Margaritas on the rocks. They are delicious, and the mixer keeps well in the refrigerator. Since the bottle is not too big, I can usually finish it before I get tired of them.😉

The limeade sugar is for 8 fl oz and the mix is for 2 to oz so for the same amount of juice as mix it’s only 5.75 grams of sugar. That’s if you’re using the same amount though. Just a thought 😁

The serving size is probably much smaller on the mixer one. It's only 2 oz. I noticed on the skinny margurita mix serving size is really small. That's how the sugar is so low. The serving size on the limade is probably 8 oz.

When you compared the sugar you compared two different amounts of liquid the margarita mix was only 2 oz with 13 grams so actually so if you were to do like a half cup or cup it would be a insane amount of sugar. The limeade Was I think 8 oz worth so I think it’s the same or the mix is actually more.

Brown butter is more savory & nutty than regular butter. It's great with vegetables. I also like it in rice krispy treats with a touch of vietnamese cinnamon. It's like a grown up version or so I tell myself.

I was only able to buy them once last year before they sold out at all my local Trader Joe's. I am going to stock up this year if they bring them back.

I believe the order for that particular product is either 1 or 2 days out. So if you’re going saturday it’s perfect timing to call tomorrow and ask for a case to be ordered for you.

I bought the Estero wine last week and went back and bought 4 more the next day. It's so smooth! Hope you're recovering well. Out of curiosity, what was your sight at before Lasik and do you have astigmatism? I'm told that I'd be a great candidate but I'm too scared.
Great news about the wine!! My prescription was -4.75 and I had a bad astigmatism in my left eye and very little in my right. The procedure went great. Woke up this morning with 20/20 vision. They told me I was a perfect candidate too. Age is a huge factor.
I follow a couple channels on RU-vid, Mr. and Mrs. Muscle is my favorite, also Whitney Simmons. I also weight lift with dumbbells and have an elliptical. I shoot for 30-40 min a day.
I wanted to buy that margarita mix that you said was your favorite, buttttt I looked at the ingredients and it has caramel coloring which is a known carcinogenic (causes Cancer) bummer! I really wanted to try it. 😞
