Tiffany I'm a 57-year-old woman who was intimidated by math. Too bad I did not have teachers like you. When I watch your videos I'm like wow math can be really fun. The way you explain it is phenomenal. It's people like you that makes the world a better place. You have a God's gift to teach.
I am a GED Instructor and find Tiffany's video math explanations superlative! She is easy to understand, her teaching style is engaging, and students enjoy listening to her because she has a voice that doesn't grate on the ears. Bottom line? Tiffany makes learning fun:)
If you had been my teacher in math, I would have been a pharmacist. Math was my Waterloo. I had outrageously horrible math teachers in my high school. I received straight A’s , wrote plays’. Received a’s in biology and even had work published but I never had anyone teach me the way you do. It is amazing how a good math teacher can change your life. I do have my Masters in Human Services but REAL math skills would have given me my dream. I am 66 and when I needed help no one could believe my math bottleneck. Really, my life would have been different. Wish things were different. Even the tutors were not like you. THANK YOU.
Thank you Mary! I appreciate your kinds words. I really try to make my presentation as thorough as possible. I try to make sure I include every detail that a student would need to be successful. I’m glad to help you! 💛
i used to argue with a cal professor. i said , if i taught, everyone would pass. because i would`t let them fail. he did`t care if they passed or failed. but he was a jerk, anyway. and i taught myself two years algebra. learned very well, too!
@@tellmesomething2go Most of my math teachers were devoid of personality and any type of understanding as to what I didn’t understand. I did get a break in college. My professor always needed cigarettes. I supplied them. He needed a dog sitter-I was there. So I did pass Calculus. But I shouldn’t have had to do that. But the jerks that teach STEM courses get away with a lot. They are given too much veneration. The young lady who teaches these classes is extraordinary. I know my life would have been different. It wouldn’t have taken me 3 times to pass organic and would have been able to sail through equations.
I'm 70 years old and never had this explained to me this clearly when I was in school (back in the covered wagon days!) This just proves you are NEVER too old to learn. Tiffany made these lessons easy to understand and fun.
Wow, this lady (honorable) teacher is very good and one of the few best around! My name is Mr.( ) And I just discovered her channel within the last 24 hours! And I know that am going to learn a hold lot of my Math work from."I am an adult and I only know up to grade sis Math! Also, I thank God for her!! Love! Rb
As promised, I watched this exponents video after watching the PEMDAS video, and another mystery has been solved for me. I am 77 and I developed a terrible fear of math in kindergarten where we were given colored counters to solve addition, subtraction problems (this was in Wales in 1948). No problem here. But these counters were stored in tobacco tins, which still smelled of the original tobacco. That tobacco was the same as the mixture my grandfather smoked, so I would spend my math time sniffing the tin and remembering the good times I had with my granddad, and not listening to what teacher was saying. My grandfather passed not long after, and I could never do math problems without thinking of him and his pipe. I am trying to overcome this personal experience; hence me watching math made easy. PS I became an English professor, and one of my goals I set to improve my math was to take a tax course, so my addition and subtraction improved, and I can do my own taxes, but exponents have always been a mystery never solved until today. Thank you SO much.
50 years ago, I made b+ and A s in algebra...have long forgotten a lot of it even though I work with a lot of numbers ( using basic math) It was interesting to watch and get a refresh on math I will likely never use. That being said, I have watched others solving math problems and from where I am sitting, you are the best math teacher I have seen online.
Learning becomes easier when you have your mind set on a personal goal keep up the good work many good things lie ahead when you have an education. Remember to keep learning at least until you get an associate's degree That's where the money starts and that's the goal right. Money can't find you love but it does make the world a whole lot easier. From an old guy of 61 that retired at the age of 58 It's a whole lot better than 67 isn't it now go get it It's just waiting for you.
Holy Mother of Lord!!! I needed you when I was in High School..I was never taught correctly and have always felt ashamed that I could't understand it. You are TRULY an AMAZING SUPER LADY!!! I can't THANKYOU ENOUGH!! I am trying to teach my son math due to Covid and I came across your channel. I ABSOLUTELY can NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH..It is Sept of 2020!!!
Tiffany! Thank you so much! I am going back so school and it has been 10 years since I graduated. I have been watching all of your videos and I swear I am learning and understanding way more than when I was actually in High School. You are amazing and such a lifesaver.
Ditto Ashley, Tiffany you are God sent I am starting back to school in a few weeks after 25 years and I was so scared about taking the math classes. I just watched the exponents and order of operation videos and I got so much from your videos. Thank you, thank you, thank you,
I am 63 and trying to figure out what I missed in algebra class in school. I get it now and I am enjoying relearning Algebra fo r personal knowledge. I did not do well with it it in school, 9th grade. I passed but never really understood it. Loving it.
You can do it!!, all of you!, I got my G.E D.!!!, I COULD BARELY DO ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION IN SCHOOL, home disaster!, abuse, parents were told I couldn't do it!, I proved them wrong at school!, I went to G.E.D. classes at night 2&1/2 year's, ... Passed all tests. GO FOR IT......you CAN DO IT!!!!!
I have never understood numbers. My teachers raced through it and I fell behind. I’m at about a 6 grade level. I thought something was wrong with me or that I was just slow. I watched your videos in amazement. I can do math! It’s not so scary. I wish you would have been my math teacher. I am 56 years old. Never to late to learn. Thank you for sharing your method of teaching.
Just Wow I’m 64 years old and have never understood the stuff I have dyslexia so I had a time trying to learn in school and I watched two of your videos and understand more now than I have for the last 50 years thank you
I am super shocked not to see 100% thumbs up! You're brilliant, an awesome teacher. Thank you so much. How is it not taught this way everywhere all the time? Could you also help with chemistry equations?
I have been out of college for 50 years if this have been explained to me as you do when I was in high school and college it would have made equations so much simpler. I give you a gold star.
Thanks Tiffany you have excellent teaching methods. Too many teachers only want to teach gifted students. Then, not understand when not so gifted students struggle with teachers who can't teach students that need clarity of every situation. Shall I say those of us that did not get that gift of mathematical insight. Your teaching methods should be incorporated in general learning. Many students will benefit. Thank you!
I am studying for my accuplacer test for college at age 32. I do like your video's!!! I see my small tiny mistakes and you have helped me correct them! (Jessica Hawkins)
Thank you so much, I been out of school for 32 years, haven't practiced math in all that time (except to count my money, lol), and have been practicing to take this Work Keys test for Spirit Aerosystems , and this helps out a lot. I did subscribe so I can get more practicew and now I think I'm ready to Ace this thing!!! Thanks again for helping US out!!!
Teacher where were you when I took algebra, in the 70s, your amazingly clear and understandable. Thanks, I stop by periodically to review because it is so much fun.
Tiffany thank you soooo much. Felt like I was never gonna get it till I came across your videos. I am now on a learning ladder going up with each of your videos. My ged is getting closer because of you
When you think about a square, it's a 2 dimensional shape, but you think of a cube it a 3 dimensional shape so when think about the base number to the 2nd power (squared) it means 2*2, which is 2^2, but if you think when the base number to the 3rd power (cubed) it means 3*3*3 which is 3^3.
Oh, how I wish I knew you thirty years ago. Math is not my strong suit,. But you make this so easy to learn and understand. I wish math teachers I had in school knew how to teach and explain this simple. Thank you so much. You confirm I’m not stupid or dumb at all.😔
Awesome Eugenia! Here’s the registration link! We look forward to helping you! 💛 docs.google.com/forms/d/1wKSMMaiTZ08GjLr_Uy-9ybp9ZonCo4P5CzirT6cX5iM/edit
Teaching math is not easy, but you present the material in a concise, easy- to-understand manner. Bless you for utilizing your God given talent in the service of helping others understand what many consider difficult to grasp.
Thanks, you make it so easy. and break it down perfectly I am a quick study but maths has never been a strong point for me until now, I am doing a bit of maths at home each day.
