Great video, thank you :) Is it possible to change how textures are exported? So the roughness, metalness textures are not in the RGB channels of one texture?

Hello, how can I prepare the glass material in 3dsmax glb material. Unfortunately, when I preview the material that I see as glass in max in the browser, it looks like a solid solid color material.

In the material Alpha Mode, did you choose "Blend"? And also check in different gltf web viewer. The web app also may be causing problem.

Hello sir, are the exported files (gltf/glb) compatible with shopify? Will you also teach how you got the Toad bitmaps, are they also from 3ds Max? Thank you for your content!

Hy, I'm not sure if shopify accepts gltf file as I have not used shopify. Sorry for that. Toad bitmaps are not from 3ds Max it is from substance painter.

Do you know how to export include biped animation also glb or gltf? Only modelling is good but included animation is not good

I think 3ds max dosnot support animation in gltf format

Hello! Thank you for this tutorial! I have one issue. I am making exactly same moves but in the time I am putting the 3d object (as .glb file) to the viewer, the object is total black! I tried also with Corona lights but same problem! Net move was in the viewer change exposure same issue, total black! Can you help me? What I am doing wrong? Thank you very much!

did you assign gltf material? that may be the problem

It might also be because of large texture size.. try reducing it

Hi there, i am having a problem exporting a rubber texture. it is so shiny on teh gltf model how can i turn this into a matte texture

seems like problem of roughness. to get matte effect you should put on white as roughness.

Hi Sir, i wanted to export 3d model from 3ds max with vray materials to glb format. When i upload to the particular website, is all solid black color only & no material eventhough i have vray materals apply on the model before exporting. Is it that I can only use gltf Material & not vray materials in order to view in my AR website? Thanks. Hope to hear from you soon!

you cannot export glb with vray material.. you should use only glb material no others

@@zarus.m9925 I see. So looking at the tutorial, all materials such as paint, plastic, fabric etc must have roughness & Ambient Occlusion texture map? Before we export the model to GLB format, do we need to set up lighting for the 3d model or empty scene will do? Sorry for the noob question, totally new to GLB. Tqvm!

@@tinklebell88 roughness, normal map, ao map and metallic map will define how the object will look in final, so a good texture should include all of them ,, if your model don't have metal in it you can skip metallic map though.

Ya textures will also be exported. Use only gltf material and don't use large size textures. If you are trying to export FBX remember to check "Embed Media" while exporting.

use UVW Unwrap if you are using 3ds max.

​@@cuentoscortos_parati i would prefer a proper uv cut so that the seams woldn't be visible. and you can export uvw map with UVW Unrap

because you might not have used glb material and used pbr or any other material.

@@zarus.m9925 when i deleted the uber bitmap and when i add base color just random collor it will show the color on the viewer but not with the uber bitmap
