In 2005, when Kamala Harris, the District Attorney of San Francisco, supported a complete Handgun BAN and confiscation with Proposition H.
Proposition H banned the manufacture, distribution, sale and transfer of firearms and ammunition within San Francisco, and ban City residents from possessing handguns within San Francisco.

And confiscated the guns people already had by giving them 4 months to turn them in without legal consequence.
Not only did Kamala support this law, she sponsored it:
You know what makes this even wilder Proposition H Passed.
So not only would gun owners in San Francisco have to turn their guns, but they wouldn't get any money for the guns that they paid for!
Now, it wasn’t until the courts stepped in that Proposition H was struck down as unconstitutional. But that’s not the point-the point is that Kamala Harris Supported UNconstitutional handgun bans and confiscations.
Let us not forget in 2008, Kamala also fought against the Heller decision, A Historic Supreme Court case that said that you have an individual right to own a gun.
Kamala led a group of prosecutors that tried to convince the Supreme Court that you don't have an individual right to own a gun, arguing that if the court ruled that you do have an individual right to own a gun, it would endanger state and local firearm laws (that were unconstitutional)
So the next time you hear Kamala Harris talk about how she doesn’t want to take away anyone’s guns, just remember Proposition H and the Heller decision. Because the past doesn’t lie. And no matter how much she tries to spin it now, we know where she really stands when it comes to our Second Amendment rights.

@@MrKGreggs Well, if you want to be fair, it's entirely possible her values HAVE changed on this particular issue since then. I mean it was nearly 20 years ago. I just think it's just funny that she seems willing to say literally anything depending on what she thinks people want to hear. But she's flip-flopped so much it's impossible to know one way or the other. To be honest, and logical about it, one of the main reasons I would vote for Trump over her is because it's impossible to know what she really thinks, whereas with Trump, it's a matter of separating the things he says he'll do just to troll people or as a joke (make Mexico pay for the wall) vs the things we think he'll actually do. And the bottom line is the stakes are too high. If we trust her this time, and she's lying or even not lying but flip flops yet again during the emotional hangover of the next mass event, we lose our rights.

1) the 2nd Amendment is not ‘a law.’ 2) the 2nd Amendment does not “grant” any rights. Our rights are inalienable and granted by GOD. The Constitution and subsequent Amendments are restrictions - they restrict the government and limits what the government is permitted to do. In spring of 2005, I visited friends who lived Mill Valley, CA. To this day I fondly remember going on a early morning run before hitting the gym that felt absolutely perfect. Like "that time I experienced satori while running." The Bay Area was so beautiful back then... now I wouldn't feel as safe and I definitely would want to be armed because the neighborhood just isn't the same thanks to the destructive policies that were packaged as "safety measures." Harris & Newsom political influence has been consistently destructive because they lie about everything.

I don’t have too many opportunities these days to say I’m proud of California as one of its native sons. But god damn I do love the law that every bill and proposition has to be hand delivered to the voting public before Election Day.
