Its like marrying a beautiful woman, she seemed nice for the first few years, and completely switches personality and leaves the man taking his money and kids. Surely its rational to blame the man for not noticing a professional manipulator. These guys arent the main character, theyre as vulnerable or even more vulnerable to these scams if these guys who seemingly know what theyre doing take the L themeselves. Its called trusting something and getting betrayed, happens daily.

The problem these days, is that anything can be faked. That could be as simple as photoshopping a 1 million pay out cert (ict) or something like traders domain (watch coffeezilla) demanding a broker remove bad trades from their history. At the end of the day, it comes down to faith.
