adding a cheat report in the replay would be awesome because a lot of the times i can't tell till i actually see the replay and see it

Go to Home Depot and ask for a whole house, evaporative humidifier. A good one is like $150-200 and should fix your issue pretty well. Dyson isn't worth it. Far too expensive

I have had moments like the first match where someone is hitting the servers, but it almost never affects me. I can usually move fine while everyone else is stuck or struggling to move, but i am not the one hitting the servers and i solo q.

I don't think the first match was DDOS. I don't know if anyone else has similar experiences but this happens decently common lately with the ubisoft servers. It used to happen all the time a year or two ago but it's started happening again lately.

People have this bizarre " I can never lose mindset" I just don't get at all. Its a game sometimes you win sometimes you lose but so many have this "we have to 3-0 or i leave" type brain and it confuses me. Its worse with cheats and people who decide to after facing a loss.

The servers were pretty f*cked the last couple of weeks. Every third game we had like a 1v1 because four people on either side disconnected at the same time and or couldn't reconnect. I was always the only one to stay behind. Really weird stuff with Ubi Servers.

7:53 If you turn on the All chat, it could be the reason of getting ddosed. A Korean Streamer avoided ddos in ranked cause he turned off All chat and his teammates got ddosed because they turned on All chat.

I’ve played these guys before I think. And I soon as I killed redirecting my trio froze and then removed from the match. We were on chalet and he was playing Flores. I remember the Deutsch guy too.

You can get a whole house humidifier that attaches to your HVAC system for the house. There's simple "bypass" models (few hundred bucks) that require the heat to be running to work, or "steam" models (more expensive) that can add just humidity when requested without requiring the heat to be running. If you use a smart thermostat and have available thermostat wires, the thermostat can control the humidity, otherwise most kits come with a humidistat that installs in the return ducting.

I've used floral sponge/floral foam to act as a humidifier before, just make sure to re-wet it (don't over wet and don't compress) every few hours depending on dryness of your home. Place in front of vents or fan.

For a humidifier I have a Pureguarding H8000BCA 2 gallon. It costs about $200 and works great. It can turn itself on and off when the room is too dry or humid.

I didn't even know humidifiers existed at all for ages. In NZ, its so humid all the time we need dehumidifiers to dry out the house. I've never experienced a room that's "too dry". Only ever too humid. Constantly sweating in summer.

My dad always used to say someone was lag switching anytime he lagged when he used to play cod back in the day. I found it hilarious

the air purifier what ever was so worth it, when i served in the army, our squads room was so dry, and dusty most of the time since the ventilation system was broken. so when one of our squadmates bought one for 350, it really made me sleep well and not wake up with sore and dry throat everyday. i can't breathe through my nose well and that was a saver. deffinelty worth it i'd say

Varsity, you might have seasonal eczema, it's a dry skin condition that can get really bad but it sounds like you have very mild cases, an air purifier is amazing well worth the money

Hax like that on console in order to actually do that you have to either jailbreak or get a modded console and doing that requires you to actually physically change part of the software where yes you may be able to get like one or two games off they will be detected by Sony and or Microsoft and then this system is just bricked they can't use it anymore without replacing the entire hard drive

My thoughts on the first match is that the deutch guy is the ddoser and since he was queued with the jäger he started to ddos the ash after the kill im guessing he only ddosed the people that killed him or jäger and maybe he’s new to hacking so he doesn’t have a good win/loss ratio

For match 1, I've a more sound theory, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say there's a high possibility of a packet flooder, where if you kill Jager, the cheat spams packets and the person who shoots him, this isn't a whole server issue, and makes more sense than individually finding ips of those people, finding an exploit in the hit confirmation or even kill confirmation packet would allow someone to reverse engineer that packet and make it far too big, causing a buffer overflow or similar. Though, if this were the case, the ubi servers should be able to detect and terminate the connection, so maybe it's an all chat exploit as others have said.

My god I can go through the number of games I’ve played where the guy ddos’d the crap out of me, even bringing my whole house’s internet offline 5 times, it was more common to me like 2-3 years ago

lag switching now refers to ddosing, but back in the day lag switching refereed to someone who would momentarily disconnect their ethernet cable which would lag you so that you couldn't be killed and about the time it reconnects it allows you to get kill during opponents confusion and rage....lol

Oh lmao, we had a DDoser on the enemy team. They were winning and for some reason still DDosed. In the same day we won a 2:0, literally only 2 rounds. Didn't get any money, but still we found that quite strange

The first match the jager looked like he was throwing just from the team kill then the lack of trying to kill the ash

I would recomend xiaomi humidifier, it ranges from 90-150 USD I think. Used it for about 2 years before I moved to another country and it did its job. But sometimes your phone can be disconnected from humidifier

I think with powerful ddosing tools, you can tell the server to not accept/have the clients not even send specific data. Such as gun shots or movement data. Which is why, often with lag switches, you can still turn around since that data is seperate from movement. And sometimes, you can still move. But just not shoot at all.

Fun fact: you cannot lag switch confidently on r6, 1. It’s not p2p (peer to peer, it’s basically a workaround for having dedicated servers rather than having a single server you have a player become host and when you pull ips you won’t pull player ips you’ll instead ddos specific people or a specific team) so you can’t lag specific individuals and not lag others, 2. You would have to hit a server with a specific amount of packets to freeze everyone but not take down the server which is very hard to do and 3, if he was lag switching it would only affect either him or his team so by the fact that there is 2 people unaffected on the enemy team you can instantly tell that he is not lag switching, they’re either ddosing or the servers are taking a shit, not to mention that it wouldn’t instantly hit the servers so when he died and the server started freezing it would probably not be him

Ddossing is more about you hitting the server whilst a lagswitch temporarily stops data flow. So you can get the upper hand when the game resyncs

lmao last match is hilarious, for some reason it looks like he is trying to look legit. I bet he is so new to the game, that doesnt even know having mav bullets isnt a normal thing. He just hit autoconfig to his trash cheats, and went with it. He is now in my top list of worst cheaters i have seen.

I faced that Peek-aa-booo person and can confirm myself that they were ddosing the server.

If you run heat through the vents it will drastically change the humidity in the air if you do put like a bowl or pan of water in front of vents.

In the first match what if it was the thorn who Ddosed because he got tk’d. He might have been afraid of losing or something else I don’t know but maybe.

You could get some plants, like ferns, that can dehumidify, though with adventurous cats like the ones you live with, that's not going be great for the long-term health of the plant.

A dehumidifier draws moisture out of the air and other things. A humidifier will put moisture in the air. Make sure your looking for the right one.

Played siege for the first time in 2 seasons. Ran into a cheater once every 2-3 matches but ONLY in casual. Not one cheater in roughly gold lobbies during my placements. Annoying af. Dude was using hip fire aimbot + Mav bullets

2 Theories, 1: he can only DDoS people who have killed him for whatever reason. I believe this because the 3 that were froze at spawn were all people who had killed the reblicting guy. 2: the ones that didnt get initially DDoS'd at spawn have VPN's

Ok ill add some clarification to the topics, a lag switch is a physical interruption in your own connection to trick the servers into relaying incorrect data so persay you would put a actual switch on the power side of your ethernet cable so you could kill ethernet and turn it back on at will. A DDos is a physical attack to a users network in order to have gotten everybodys pc info they would have to bypass sieges servers since siege itself isnt a peer to peer connection its not as easy for a person to grab a ip and send a botnet at it. If he were to attack sieges servers everybody including him would lag and ubisoft would be able to see all the pings (if of course they were monitoring the servers consoles at the time), more than likely what happened here was a exploit theyre taking advantage of in the code to either prevent the other people from leaving character selection, or like with the knife cheat theyre probably using some ingame call functions all at once to freeze the players. Theres only been a few times when full RCE control has been taken over on a games servers and those games are the black ops games like in bo3 which it wasnt until even a year ago with no updates to the game and no constant bans that 1 single person finally has full RCE in bo3 so what theyre doing is beyond me but i feel as though this clarification needed to be made simply to clear sieges name for once because its a pretty safe game for your computer since its still being updated, upkept, and monitored in comparison to other games like bo3 .

So first clip I can say for sure that I think this has happened to all players where one person is moving while everyone is frozen. However, everyone is actually moving but server doesnt register it so basically when you move, some people are inclthe enemy but you can either frag or get fragged.

I know this is super old but maybe the comments will help bring more views, the algorithm is confusing so idk. But for the ddos guy, it comes down to internet security of the player. More unsecured networks are easier to flood, easier to slow down and or crash. Highly secured networks / someone using a vpn could potentially be safe. To ddos attack someone you need their IP address, which is logged on the games server, but if you’re using a vpn your IP address should be safe and secure.

No do not buy that humidifier, you can literally buy 4 of them for probably $150-$200 which will allow you to be more precise with where you want them throughout the house and not put them in rooms you don’t need them in and they will work just as well as the $600 one. The $600 one probably comes with some fancy Bluetooth connection and it might function as a de-humidifier as well, which clearly you wouldn’t need. My hosue is very dry as well and I have 7 humidifiers around my house all fairly cheap

Lag switching was a popular thing on consoles back when it was peer to peer lobbies. Most games now are on servers run by the company so you cannot lag switch. The first match to me looks like inconclusive evidence.

in match 1, i think they just lagged the top 3 players on the leaderboard for points which would explain the Ace lagging. Though, they also might have a ddos in all actuality and that is why Ash froze immediately afterwards. Overall it doesn't matter, i used to love this game but recently i can play casual or newcomer (switched to pc) because ever lobby has a hacker and that made me lose interest in the game. i will just have to wait until next month with the new anti-cheat. i think reblicting could have made it so that whoever kills him starts lagging, hence why he purposely didn’t shoot, idk if there would be a cheat that specific but wouldn’t be surprised. i think that bc ash had only 3 kills, ash could have not killed reblicting throughout the match and others may have. that is my take

It's also weird in round 6 of the first match the whole team stop being DDOSed when theres only 20 seconds in the match.

can't lagswitch on r6 since its not run by player hosting the game but that does not stop a player from freezing others from the server side.

When covid first happened it was so bad the first few months of the lock down. Like people hated life or something back then.

From what I know about ddossing is that it lags everyone out but not enough to effect everyone unless 1 player gets booted offline or leaves the game but it’s still unreliable and doesn’t guarantee a win I have never personally done this I just know people who have.

On console I tried to hit plat one season (season Sam made it in) I kept getting to the final gold game And either just lost it Or got booted offline Every single time I got to my final gold game it was either a way better team or just DDoSers It was hell My first and only time trying to climb ranks

Mb you can update supress in specific timing order. I dont know how the siege network stack works tho. If there is a update order and you could possibly delay execution for a known time to stop others but not all from moving.

For console there is also a thing called a mod pack that you hook to your controller and it controls recoil for you

I run into this same problem on console me and everyone in the lobby will be on 30 ping and lagging just that bad

DDOS generally hits the entire server since individual IPs are hidden inside the server so targeting an individual is extremely difficult. Most people will DDOS on defense because everyone will freeze causing them to win due to time running out.

Of course the humidifier is worth it. It's not like it's a consumable; it' is comfort for years. You waste enough money on buying skins 'for your channel' that your audience can't see.

Definitely more cheats than just Zim on console. There wouldn't be a point to the "report for cheating" option if that was the case. I haven't heard a good point on how consoles can't have cheats because they most certainly can

Wouldn’t they have to have an in on each person to target them specifically to DDos specific people - and wouldn’t that be a huge security breech!?! Like huiuuuge… like the security breech BHVR had recently? - I think they were DDosing as well and I think Siege has a major security issue where private information is vulnerable…

Not saying the third guys isn’t/wasn’t cheating, but you can hear people vaulting over walls if you play with the volume loud enough. I’ve heard it myself.

I've only ever known two cheaters, one of them was actually good mechanically but he used walls, and the other one used his excuse for cheating as "I cheat to send a message to ubi"

I think the two who could move, had a VPN and thats why they were save from DDoS

never heard lag switching in FPS games but it use to be rly common in wow during wotlk and cataclysm time. and 90% of the time it was rogues who abused it. and for those who dont know how it works is that who ever was abusing it would lag and warp all over the place bc the server could not calculate their location. and there was similar ppl in Destiny pvp that used similar exploit. for u they would lag and all damage done to them would be null but they could pretty much 1 shot u since they where lagging and when u see them shooting u only ones in reality they shot u 3-4 times

A bit late and probably already said as far as cheats on console go, mod menus for older games are the most “conventional” cheats you would find where you get mods however most games nowadays aside from games with ps3 or Xbox 360 versions will not have mod menus available

Is there an know hack that makes you unable to defuse? Yesterday in a game I killed the last opposite player with 50sec left on the clock and I wasn't able to defuse, or shoot, or switch weapons or anything right after that kill. My team thought I were trolling 🤦🏻‍♂️

I do know that on console there is a third party controller attachment that you can buy and add scripts to that will allow you to have recoil macros. I've heard that it can also run wall hacks and honestly that doesn't sound too far fetched since if they can program recoil macros what's to stop them from programming walls ?
