EXPOSING Her MESSED UP Wrap Job Up Close | Tricks To Fix It Yourself Using Extra Scraps 

Madisen is my homie so I fixed this for her for free if she brought me a coffee. Was pretty limited on what I can do with this one since there was only 1 feet of wrap left and some scraps. The wrap jobs I do can mess up as well depending on the car and when I did it. That’s why I do videos exposing myself. I always say it will never be perfect, but I will always fix it for you if I messed up at no additional cost. This video is just to show you how I would fix something like this if there’s not enough material to redo the whole panel. I’m not a professional and just wrap cars for fun. If you are really picky I suggest you bring it to an actual professional wrap shop that can guarantee perfection, but as you can see here that can also be risky so do your research! Madisen's car is bunk as hell. Glad you showed what was wrong and explained why it happened. I see this a lot from customers who get their wraps done at other shops. 3m is a really good material and one of my preferences to wrap with.

Just because your body panels aren't original doesn't mean that they can't be secure. She needs to go through and put all the bolts/clips that she's missing back on.

Post heating is SOOOOO important. I spend a LOT of time on each panel after wrapping to heat all the edges and trouble spots. Don't be afraid of the heat - when the wrap is installed, it's very hard to overheat it. It should get hot enough where it's uncomfortable to touch. You want areas to lift while you are wrapping, not after it's out in the wild where dirt and water can get it. As far as brands... I have used 3M, Avery, and Oracal. I just wrapped my son's S13 with Paradox's candy cherry ruby red and I can say, the finish is amazing, and the air release, adhesive, and stretchability are on par or superior to the "big guys". Will be buying from Paradox from now on. Do it yourself! Nobody cares more about your car more than you ;)

I appreciate you sharing this. I have been watching hours and numerous videos thinking I could possibly do this. Watching this gave me goosebumps thinking this is probably mistakes a beginner could do and how to try and avoid it. In all it grounded me back to earth and realize it is not as easy as it looks. I just wrapped the same car in Vivvid. It was my mismatched daily and it was my first time wrapping. After lots of piecing together and tons of newbie mistakes, it looks just like how she rolled out your driveway! I am shocked that she paid the other wrapper for DIY quality work. I think some of the fault is the cars and not the wrapper. Issue is that you need to make sure all your panels are secure. Moving panels will hit the wrap and ruin the edges.

I wonder how strong/durable is the vinyl wrap opposed to paint. Cuz driving in the elements might be tough on it

They didn’t do a perfect job but that car has more issues with vibration and parts falling off then how bad they did so I would say maybe 10-15 percent there fault
