A lie that parents often tell kids is that if you make the same face for too long, it would be stuck like that forever. I remember being scared when hearing this.
Well sometimes Minecrat does have some highlights on what's on realife but makes it a little unreal😅. Examples: 1) When a creeper gets near a lightning rod they charge up (When something is near to a lighting rod it does charge up but not creepers BC they don't exist) 2) (lol idk other examples😅)
Lmfao, this is exactly why I couldn’t have one until I was like in my mid teens. My mom always said “NO, WAIT UNTIL YOUR 14 BECAUSE YOU’RE EYES AREN’T GROWN ENOUGH YET” or something
@@kamikatze9231honestly possibly yea but even then there are different kinds of radiation like uv light pretty sure is radioactive but safe so might still not be true.
1) You physically cannot get stuck crossing your eyes. The muscle in your eyes make it to where they can go any direction 2) Drinking Coffee doesn’t stunt growth as there isn’t any evidence (Try it out see if you stop growing) 3) You actually can hurt your eyes sitting too close to a screen due to the light frames going into your eyes. It can also make you dizzy 4) Carrots cannot make you see better in the dark but they help out your eyes a lot due to the Vitamin A (I have literally only heard people say it gives you better vision) 5) We got phones for calculators (Prob made up before phones tho)
It might also be because of caffeine, which can give you an overdose if you drink over 400 mg as a healthy adult, 200 mg as a 12-18 yo, and any amount if
Sitting too close to the tv can be true in some cases. It’s pretty common for people to focus their eyes on an object very close to them for a long period of time. If one focuses their vision on a close object, the muscles in the eye can get “stuck” to said distance and have a hard time focusing on objects that are more far away. However, it’s not only tv that causes this, almost anything, such as reading books, can cause this. This happened to me and many others. I was diagnosed to have it a few years ago by an optician.
Riggy's screan background having an image of him with Rosey is such an awesome detail, I know they're just cartoons but their love just feels SO REAL but fr though if your girlfriend chases someone with a knife to protect you, either you should run away, or she's the one
The carrot one is a funny story. After the British started putting radars into their planes, they needed a cover up story for why their pilots were so effective during night-time missions. The carrot story worked so well that some reports say some german pilots ate so much carrot that their skin had a slight orange discoloration.
Yes and no, well radar and plains had been around before, what the British did was make better radars and make them a part of the plain instead of a box in their lap.
Not only that, there were such things as "pocket computers" (basically a horizontal programmable calculator) since 1980. They were portable and could fit in your pocket.
so, during WWII, the british got a new fancy toy that can see german bombers, and too keep h¡tler from finding out, the brits made up that propaganda with the carrots. hope this helped!!! :DD
my parents biggest lie were "you're crying because you're tired" its the other way around, crying causes you to be tired because the body goes into panic mode and uses all its energy, thus why it happens.
About carrots he said "REGULAR carrots can't", that means if you add almost an ingot or gold to a carrot and make a potion of this golden carrot, it'll give you night vision for some minutes(no fake)
The British propaganda thing was because they had machines to locate German planes during the night and they made it seam like it was because the people were eating carrots
Well with flashing lights especially in animes they tell you not too sit too close to the tv. At the beginning of fairy tale it literally tells you too back up
Well crossing your eyes can become an annoying uncontrolled behaviour for a short while Sitting too close to the tv actually damages your eyes even in flat screen times, it shortens your eye sight as they get used to it Till the 60s tvs might actually have destroyed your eyes because there were a few models were the radioactive shielding failed and people got radiated red skin After that till flat panels became standart crts kinda made you see horizontal lines for maybe a few days as i experienced it myself after i sat for many hours days on end close to an old crt once
