He didn't even go after his son when his wife left for Japan with his son unnoticed. His first reaction was to book a flight to Hawaii and relax. Ridiculous.
The reason he named himself "techlead" is because he really was the project lead on the youtube app for ios before he retired from google, and for me, nothing is worse for your reputation than being involved in creating the terrible youtube ios app
People defending TechLead because they see him as a satire channel, dont realise that he still made a fake cryptocoin and stole from his fans. You guys really are something😂
Nah, you gotta dive deeper into it. You can't stop other people with big wallets from pumping and dumping a coin. It went viral on 4chan and they pumped the pants off of it. That isnt techleads fault. The price is still locked in at over 1$ which is what was promised. He just didnt back the full 1 million value himself. He lied yeah, but not a scam.
Fren, look at $ICP & its price action. If you don’t get the point, it’s the same reason why you can’t read between the lines of TechLead videos. If I my guess is true, his wife must have come to America after marrying him and never bothered to get an American or European college degree . Without that, nobody will ever hire you, no matter how golden of a university you have graduated from back in your home country. Besides, when her only reason to live in America turned out to be such a curse upon her and her child, it doesn't make sense to cling to a country where he exists, no matter how much he can pay her in child support. In the first place, she must have known he squandered all the money he had. There's no way he is capable of paying support when he's broke af and resorting to scamming people to make money. She has nothing left here and if her home country degree allows her to work at back home comfortably while her parents are present to help her out, there's no merit to staying America while this creep was making her out to be the villain and using his son for garnering sympathy.
Anyone have the clip where Techlead mentioned he got into an argument with his dad on a trip and neither of them would budge so he left his dad stranded on the road ? Very narcissistic and full of pride. He must got it from his dad' side
I don't know why anyone watches that guy. I tried watching his videos years ago when I was getting my CS degree, before joining FAANG, and was like.... nope, this guy is full of it and most of his advices are horrible.
Getting married to a foreign national as an arrogant ass. He is certainly not the first guy to whom that's happening and certainly not the last. The difference with normal divorce is that the spouse can go in a place that the justice system you are using can not reach. While I somewhat feel for him and his messy separation. It does not reduce the scam that he tried to pull out (as a millionaire).
I hate to admit I like that guy before. I believed that story he made up about his son. Techlead is not tech nor a leader. And I thank zilla for continuously exposing this dude
I used to watch this guy when I first started programming and he had this egotistical feel about his videos where you had to listen to him because he was an ex Google employee and he would tell you that there is no place for you and just basically give up. Thankfully I didn’t listen to him.
He keeps saying the tech field is dead. He said to avoid anyone who is entering the field, because there is no future in it. Yet even in that video he is still advertising in his description, his "Learn to code" series, and taking peoples money for it. What a disgusting man.
@@gregoryl.levitre9759- Years ago he used to give halfway decent advice. He acted like a smug a-hole but it seemed like a character he was playing for the video. Turns out it wasn't a character he was playing.

Coffeezilla is, like, one of the most “let’s try to get the other side of the story” journalists I’ve ever seen. In every major development he covers, he always tries to contact the big names involved, even if they just end up telling lies. Lies that can be verified with the evidence Coffee gathers before releasing a video. Like a journalist would.
Man, crazy, I’ve been watching expose documentaries for longer than Coffee has been on RU-vid, I never would have expected he invented it. TechLead must know about Coffee’s time travel machine. WE HAVE TO STOP HIM 😂
I recently almost fell for the pig butchering scam and the guy used the same shit about his wife taking his kid in the divorce. Seems to be the running play 🤷♂️🤦♂️.
I remember watching him when I started as a software engineer like 5-6 years ago. He always seemed a little crazy. He really went off the rails when his wife left him lol.
I got a comment from you on another video saying I won 10k USD. I sent you the 800 dollars to pay for the taxes. But you still haven’t sent me my 10k I won. Will you please stop ignoring me and tell me when I should expect to get my money? Or will you at least just send me my 800 back please?
Seems someone deleted my comment. You told me I won 10k USD. I paid you the 800 in taxes for it. It’s been almost a month now. And I’ve sent you numerous messages. Are you going to send me my money?
Yeah as soon as I heard this guy say getting a degree in computer science was a way to be poor and just whining about stuff normal jobs involve.... It immediately occurred to me how he was pure bs
Me when I get pulled over: "You're just a professional hater. You don't have a real career all you do is make money by calling people out on their driving."
Saying "I lost my 3 year old son" when actually your ex-wife is looking after him is WILD. Said like that, it sounds like the kid died... which would be horrific... and he's saying it like that deliberately because it sounds like we should be more sympathetic than "I was (probably) a crappy husband and father so my wife got custody of our child".
@@HumanoidTyphoon91i dont know about that based on logic. If that was the case, TechLead would have filed with the Japanese authorities and something would have happened. Japanese authorities does not just let your spouse take your child without there being a legal reason for doing so. Plus if the child was born/a citizen of the U.S, Techlead could have filed a kidnapping charge and pursue extradition. So either he didnt fight for his kid and just gave up, or there is something going on that nobody is talking about behind the scenes.
@@HumanoidTyphoon91 no, the other guy is correct. you can clearly see techlead used his son to go off topic on purpose. this means his phrasing is intended to trick coffeezilla for pity points because the reason is brought it up was for pity points and to deflect. If this was the actual topic, then yes he gets a pass for phrasing it like that. But since he brought his son up as a deflection trick, he gets no benefit of the doubt. In fact, it's improbable.
@@gezenews like I said, he went off topic on purpose as a trick for pity points. If this was the actual topic, he gets a pass. But since he brought up this topic to trick coffeezilla, his phrasings follow the tricking mentality, not the innocent victim version he's trying to sell. Based on what you wrote, he can accurately say: "My ex took my son." In fact, since Techlead loves to blame people, this is THE version that suits him more, as it highlights his loss AND it drags his ex in. But we don't need to consider that, because the giveaway is that he brought up his son to trick coffeezilla into leaving him alone, so the entire (off)topic about his son is a trick. If anyone wants to fish for "innocence" in his message, they've been tricked by him already.
Its crazy how RU-vid is basically using the Honor system when it comes to copywrite strikes. Yet I've never seen one person punished for abusing the system.
There occasionally are punishments, but it usually only applies to small time people abusing the system. As RU-vid's punishment is usually fines. Which if you're not a millionaire, sure, that's a fine deterrent. But for large corporations or rich a-holes, RU-vid fining them does nothing to fix the problem.
I mean it’s sort of working as designed through the lens of DMCA right? It’s why we need an updated series of regulations for copyright protection here in the US.
@@SageSundaeexactly. People like to give RU-vid all sorts of crap for the dmca abuse on their system, but if they get a dmca notice on something they are legally required to take it down or else they could possibly be held liable for the copyrighted material
It's because if you file a copyright strike and RU-vid doesn't react and take down the video, you could theoretically name RU-vid in the copyright infringement lawsuit and they could lose their Safe Harbor protections, meaning that every single piece of copyrighted content illegally on RU-vid becomes something RU-vid is financially liable for, which would likely sink Google, not just RU-vid. Conversely, there's not been any legal precedent set yet for having things taken down by a false claim, and I'm not sure what civil law it would even possibly fall under as YT pretty explicitly covers that they aren't really responsible for ensuring your video is available, monetized, or findable. So RU-vid allows known bad actors who knee-jerk attack others to continue to do so, because it's not costing them money. RU-vid has been the dominant social media video platform for nearly 20 years. Facebook couldn't beat it. Instagram/Vine/TikTok don't come close to it (by orders of magnitude). RU-vid doesn't do anything to protect people on the platform because they don't have to. If you leave because you're being harassed, there are 1000 people willing to take your place. Sure, none of them might even do the same kind of content, but RU-vid doesn't care.
“Cant remove copyright strikes” There is literally a copyright section on the RU-vid dashboard that lists them out, maybe he was just struggling to find that specific false strike in the list of all the others
@@dodixaber8968 A techlead, previously at Google, can't figure out Google Accounts. Either he was way to stupid for that role, or he is playing stupid to avoid looking evil. I'll let you pick which it is.
Tech lead really needs to understand the concept of fair use. The hypocrisy is blatant, especially when he uses your video without seeking any license. Their standards seem to only apply to others.
In fairness to tech lead, his situation is more complex. The court sided with his wife and she took the kid to Japan and he was powerless to bring him back or even see him
Coffeezilla- "Hey what's going on with this million token?" TechLead- "I need to do the Fallout 4 main quest first IRL. My son is gone and I need to find him."
I’m sure the evidence about his character came into evidence during the child custody hearing, I’m sure the Court was reluctant to award custody to a fraudster
Eh, I think it's fair. What good would custody do him? She's in another country, a country in which getting joint custody as a father is virtually impossible unless the mother is crazy or abusive. His kid is pretty much gone.

@@Chuck8541Good for you. There's a niche for everyone. There's a category of people who are so antisocial (whether literally on the antisocial spectrum or just close to that kind of behavior for whatever contingent reason) who get away with having bluster and bravado for long enough that they keep getting rewarded and don't realize that someone will stand up to them eventually. I’ll put 1K down that that guy is an awful father. Someone should dig into their divorce and get the wife’s side of the story. When I used to watch him I used to feel bad for him and take his side, but obviously after the Tren Black stuff you couldn’t trust him anymore at his word; makes me think the wife had a reason for literally ditching for Japan with the kid
Getting litigious with Internet Anarchist about the subject matter of this video could lead to a discovery period that could really damage him, allegedly (as a millionaire).
Eh not really, it was a matter of copyright violation not defamation. He only need to prove that the material used in IA is his and gave evidence to that and nothing else. IA only need to show how the video is transformative and protected by fair use. Remember even negative false story is not a violation of copyright so TechLead does not need to give evidence about what is said on the videos is true or not, nor should the lawyer on IA side need to prove his content is false or not.

I really hope this comment doesn’t get lost in the feed. I worked in San Jose for a family law firm that represented his wife. He didn’t care about his son at all, she wanted custody and agreed to sign a contract he provided that gave her full custody if she never asked for child support or spousal support. I don’t know the whole story, just that he really only cared about money.
My heart goes out to his son who one day is going to realize that his father choose money over being a father. I hope it’s the day when this guy is older and needs his son to take of him rather than put him him in a convalescence home. You reap what you sow in life.
