Thing is that we are basically obliged to give up our information to third party sites, because, as you might have noticed, if you don't give up the information, you do not get to participate of the application, they simply lock you out... Which , by the way , it should be an attitude that we need to look at ... why a corporation doesn't let you participate if you do not give them the information they want...🙋

In Germany they have stricter privacy laws than the US and even their intelligence services don’t have the amount of power as the American services. The military is a huge deal in America and almost everything revolves around it, however this is not the case in Europe. Travel to Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and it is no where near the amount of surveillance in America. On the contrary, everyone in Europe knows the CIA is collecting their data. The biggest surveillance apparatus on this planet is America with the CIA as it seeks dictate to everyone around the world while claiming to be a democracy. Foreign affairs is always about interest and has nothing to do with democracy.

You're free within the space that our founding fathers knew about; the physical world. You were always essentially powerless there. It barely mattered even in 1770. Mostly nobody cares about you in that space if you are a normie. Online, however, in the shared space, where you become a superpower, a creature who can change the boring physical space, you're monitored. I am not against that, or I am used to it. But we are a point where we can renegotiate how we manage this. But if you think you have a technology that can overcome the data collection, you will be proven mistaken (in time). Privacy has been dead for some time.
