Why these travel advisories .Are they genuine and what are they supposed to achieve .What is the power in a Jamaican passport?#jamaicanpeople #deemwango
Getting a visa for the US, Canada and the UK, can be a tedious affair. They have made changes making it more difficult for the people of the Caribbean, on a whole to enter their countries. The major problem lies, when a Jamaican want to come to Africa, they need to get a US or UK transit visa, to get to the Mother Continent. The same goes for Africans, who want to visit Jamaica. The only way around that I think is to go to either the UAE 🇦🇪 or Qatar 🇶🇦 (not quite sure), then fly to Panama, then on to Jamaica 🇯🇲.
@R.A.M-RelationshipandMarriage So true. Also a way for them to take money out of our pockets, as getting a visa is not guaranteed. But you have to pay the fee upfront. It is not returned, if your application is rejected.
Jamaican passport was much stronger a few years ago. I remember back in the 80's. 🇯🇲 didn't need a visa to visit most European countries including England. Sadly, the 90's and early 2000's visas restrictions were applied.

Guns are not made in Jamaica, yet the guns are often imported by unscrupulous persons from USA. When asked by the Jamaican Government / Police to stem the tide of gun importation...results are minimal, yet when they want to stop the importation of drugs from Colombia etc , they almost live here.
