I loved every moment of this vlog. I was going to highlight your very funny comments, but it was the final four minutes that really touched me. Your disappointment with how the vlog might turn out along with describing your daytime workload, how you thought about not uploading and the act of defiance saying you don’t do that because it would be inconsistent, brought tears to my eyes. What you do takes an enormous amount of work, and I admire and applaud you for it. Watching you patiently wait for people to walk by (your expressions) made me laugh so hard and when you said you were ending the vlog because the situation was “ Awkward AF” was even funnier. But, true to form, with that great piano playing in the background, you said you watched Titanic instead of going to bed early, well, I almost fell off the couch laughing. And, no, you weren’t the weirdest thing in the vlog. You are a treasure.

Such a great story about your fake address being a fake building! I had memorized a fake phone number to give out which was actually “Dial a Prayer”. Easier than saying no. Loved the little pet cemetery too. Thank you Hannah!

Hannah! You are heading towards 250k! When I started watching your channel you had just a few thousands subs. You go girl! I appreciate your honesty and all the effort you put into your videos. I love these "walkies" in particular. But saying that I can't wait for another cake video 😋 I have to admit I don't share your feelings about those locked gardens/parks. Where I live you can hardly enjoy five minutes on a bench without being disturbed by some homeless person, someone's dog or a kid. Not to mention the dog piles everywhere. So in fact a locked private garden would be a dream for me.

I have gone to that little cottage in Hyde Park, which I think is near the Italian Gardens, so many times and never realised that if I had walked out of Hyde Park at that point, I would’ve been on Bayswater Road! Boy, do I feel silly… I lived in London for one month and rented an apartment on Princes Street in Bayswater and got the key to the Prince’s Street Garden, or Park. I used the park one time and I had completely forgotten about this park until this wonderful video! I had a friend named Tobias that owned a taxi company and his cars were all dressed up very Indian like with tassels and bits and bobs of Indian culture inside of them and he used to have his stand near a little triangular area, maybe near Westbourne Grove. He was really an eccentric person and he inherited his parents home in Hampstead Heath, and which he abandoned me there one evening! Memories… I’m gonna say it again, I love your Hannahisms with those “bougie” and “mooch”, those cute little words you use! Hahahaha, pigeons! I call them city buzzards. I saw two fellows at Southbank flying a hawk between them near the Hayward Centre? They told me it was to eliminate pigeons… Seems like there was a bookstore, The Travel Book Co., that was actually the model for that Hugh Grant movie, Notting Hill. I think that was near Tobias’ cabstand. No worries Hannah, it was a nice video! Get some rest! Sean

The only reference I have to Bayswater is from Downton Abbey when Violet's lady's maid asked the new butler where he was from and she said she grew up in Bayswater. She took him to go gamble while she got drunk. LOL Loved the fake facade.

For people who love architecture, London is amazing. Add to that the city's history, there's always someplace interesting to see. Thanks for the lovely Bayswater area tour.

Absolutely love your videos! I'm actually watching this from South Africa. I've never been to the UK, but I noticed that many of the buildings in this video resemble older buildings in my hometown, Pretoria, the capital city of South Africa. I guess it makes sense, considering we were a British colony.

Hello from across the pond! Yes, we HAVE stayed in Bayswater, at the Commodore. We thoroughly enjoyed it (not the least of which was due to memories of a Victorian childhood poem about a little girl who lived at #9 Bayswater and met a horrid end due to her love of slamming doors). Leinster Mews was one of my morning views as I sipped coffee, admiring the space but I do have to say I was gobsmacked by the tremendous echo-effect achieved late one night, as a couple residing in the Mews proceeded to have a VERY loud and prolonged dalliance. The echoes made two sound like a dozen - or perhaps it was a dozen?😂😅😮😂😮😅 Loved Tom at the Mitre Pub around the corner; excellent Roast and Mash. Thanks for jogging happy memories for us today, Hannah!

Hi Hannah, What a very enjoyable vlog! The fake house front along with the pet cemetery are what I would class as London curiosities, which I love, and have been seeking out for many years. Near the convent on Bayswater Road is what is reputed to be the smallest house in London.

Walking and waffling can be tiring. I am suprised there were no cakes, picky bits, beige bits, snacks or ready go. you NEED cake to keep going while walking about, working , doing the video. Great video too with that fake building and the tiny narrow Mews street entrances. I don't think i would live in a 3 mil. mew, sounds like an overpriced garage turned sleeping area

Hello Hannah Yes we have been to and love the Bayswater area. We have stayed a couple time at the Hotel you showed the Lancaster Gate. We loved looking out our window and seeing the horses come out of the muse and going to Hyde Park. We where there when Whitley's was open and but sadly never went in. It has been under construction every time after, though it is looking better now. My grandfather was from the Paddington area he probably walk around this area as a child. love these walks. I used to go shopping often in Whiteleys in the 80's - there was also a late night chemist called Underwoods on the corner opposite, where I used to take my camera film to develop in an hour, and would pop to Whiteleys. We used to go ice skating at the rink in Queensway - very badly! And I had family that lived there, so used to go there very often. But its definitely changed.

Oh Hannah this take me back to the early 1990s. One of my first jobs was at a residential lettings agent in Connaught Street back in the early 1990s and many of those street names are very familiar to me, Although I wasnt a letting agent I did see qutet a few apartments in the area and yes very Boujee (or Bougie). It was sometimes like walking into a palace and i was so worried that should i accidently break something it would cost me several months (or years) salary. Nice area and i remember going to a lovely pub quite often in one of those mews streets.

Bayswater an area of extreme contrasts. Really beautiful early building and quite a bit crappy run down area/buildings. I think being in a very busy area I not sure I would enjoy living/staying in such a busy area. Rest you injuries up and try have some fun this weekend. You looked good in the video today. I used to live just off Bayswater Road and, in my jogging around Hyde Park, it didn't bother me the cars were all backed up - 'cos it made it easy to run between them! 🙂 Btw, three heads are better than one...

Hannah Hannah Hannah - what is there not to Love about Hannah I say. I truly Love Hannah and would miss her if she was not vlogging once a week at least ! Bayswater a place I had not really explored in my trips to London, I did book an apartment there for our last stay but decided to cancel as I really love being close to South Bank. In September 2025 my next trip I might consider staying in that area after seeing your vlog. I had seen the area somewhat thanks to an American vlogger named ActionKid who spent time in London but you gave us a better sightseeing tour and I appreciated it. I see that the Tyburn tree would have been another weird but fascinating place to check out although maybe it is at Marble Arch and not considered Bayswater not sure. Hi Hannah - that was an interesting trot round the posh part of London Town. Bit of an old dinosaur now really - Alice in Wonderland comes to mind - lots of things are coming to the surface - some ie. Harrods aren't very edifying - I've got a bad knee too and hip x

I shopped in whiteleys in the 1960s and lived in Kensington Gardens Square There was a wonderful Greek shop in Moscow Road .
