In India films hating Hinduism are considered progressive and modern but films hating other religions are considered "phobic". People are calling to boycott his movie because he insulted our beliefs and then expected to make money from the same audience. You can't have it both ways. He insulted Hindus because we don't go around beheading people who do so and yet the moment we protest even through only economic means, we are called intolerant and hate mongers, the very things we are not. He would never dare to make a movie insulting Islam because then the religion of peace will make sure he is resting in peace. You cannot insult my Gods and then expect to get away with it. We don't want your blood but we definitely won't help your movie be a success.

For me. When I step into the theatre I don’t care what anyone says. I watch it for the story and the actor or anything I want. I loved movies that got boycotted. I have seen Forrest Gump a few times and every time i watched it, i admired Tom Hanks for his acting skills. He brilliantly executed the role of a low IQ but a simple and honest man recruited in the US army and his struggles to live in the real world.. Then i saw Aamir Khan's Lal Singh Chaddha teasers a few days ago. My first thought was why!! Just why Bollywood wants to ruin memories of such a fantastic Hollywood movie.. Copying every scene of Forrest Gump and replacing the philosophical 'Life is a box of chocolates' dialogue with gol gappa can in no way be called a great effort.. Instead of Tom's restrained acting and dialogue delivery, we are being offered Aamir with those ridiculous wide eyes and over the top expressions.. Aakhir kyo.. 🙄 Lets talk about logic too.. Hollywood could make Forrest Gump and show a man with relatively low IQ in the US army as it comes from true incidents. In 1960s, the US army recruited thousands of low IQ men to fight in the Vietnam war as they were falling short of fighters.. These low IQ recruits were called McNamara's morons.. Tom is shown fighting Vietnam war in Forrest Gump.. In India, army has always maintained strict standards and never recruited low IQ men or sent them into wars.. So, showing a low IQ man in Indian army doesn't make any sense even if its fiction and adaptation of an English movie.. But then Bollywood has stopped making any sense long ago..

It's not just about one actor or one movie. Now the people are aware what mentality does this Bollywood Industry have towards the country and culture. And even after their movies being flop they are not learning their lesson. Just last month Shamshera was released which showed that fight of tribals were always against upper caste Hindus and not British rule. This is contrary to what was shown in RRR. That's why the audiences are loving South Indian film because they respect Indian culture and nation. Although sometimes the boycott gang goes too far, but the demand for not watching (boycott) Bollywood movies is absolutely just. They are not trolls, they are not dumb, they are not fuelled with religious hate, they are genuine voices who understands the mentality of Bollywood. dear social team Thank you for posting this video. It's highly unfortunate the hate against Aamir and I believe it's a culmination of multiple factors. The video brings out some good points but I think it misses out why are people so upset about it on a subtler level.

Talking about healthy conversation, I am against this whole boycott culture but few things that I would like to mention. Dangal wasn't the biggest hit in India, most of its collections are high due to Amir's popularity in Chinese Audience. I understand that it's made in a cinematic way but the Lord Shiva's character could have been written in a better way and not the way it's presented in the movie. Also even when I agree that the scene should be seen in the movie context but if it is related to someone's real hard feelings then they have right to be offended over it. I can not make a movie to make fun of rape victims and asked it to be seen in a cinematic context. I agree with you that Amir has said sorry and we can't hang him to death for the same but as they show in zindagi na milegi dobara, the sorry doesn't mean anything if it doesn't come from the heart and in that interview, he says sorry and then carries on doing something that offends his audience once again. Also I agree that we do say things like God knows what would happen to this country and all that in our house but saying that by normal people in our house is different to saying like we don't feel safe in the country by one of India's well known and celebrated actor. Its just like you say something controversial about the social as a company in your house but you can't say those kinda things on social media that can spoil the image of social as a company. I agree with your boycott view I also feel aamir khan’s career is also over as he is a content star and I watched laal Singh chaddha first day 4 o clock show the film was good but aamir khan’s performance was awful I couldn’t stomach it I felt salman’s tubelight performance was better ( that was a half baked performance) that hate aamir is receiving is unparalleled. A friend of mine lives in gujrat tried to go watch the film but was stopped by a group of men protesting against this film he said this is happening all over gujrat but no news channel is reporting it. I think the reason all this has happened is because of the Narmada dam in 2005.

Maine uske baad bahut saari satire comedy movies dekhi aur ek baat notice ki, ke har satire film ko mature audience, jo bachkaani nahi hai aur satire comedy ko samajh sake unke liye hi banaya jaata hai.
