The bible is comprised of many books, by many authors. Is every word of it from God? What about the anonymous books. If you read a bible commentary that has a commentary biblical scholars will tell you that a large number of books including the 4 gospels are anonymous books. That's why they are labeled Gospels "according to" and not by. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John didn't write them. Nobody knows who wrote them, they are manuscripts which have been found and we don't know who wrote it. That's not me as a Muslim saying that. It's the biblical scholars. You can get the Harper Collins Study Bible, which has an intro before each book and verify it yourself.

The Old Testament god is more akin to satan than to Allah. The first non-Jewish Christians in the first and second century seemed to think so. For example, the Marcionites believed that the true God was revealed only through Jesus Christ, for the first time, and that this God is not the same as the one portrayed in the Old Testament. It is why the very first Catholic canon did not include the Old Testament until after the council of Nicea. Of course, the Marcionites do not agree with Islam in that Jesus was a prophet, or that he did not get crucified. But I think what is important is the distinction they made between the goodness of the true God, and the corruption of the Old Testament one.
