Love Dr. Neinstein's energy and really enjoyed this conversation. Thanks to both of you for being open and honest with your journeys. I appreciate you both sharing some vulnerabilities here!
i noticed too. I have that tendency cuz with my ADHD... i always worry I'll forget it later... or I interrupt cuz I'm truly excited about something they said. But I'm also hyper aware of it and I don't want to be rude. And I'll always try to come back to what they say and tell them, so sorry for interrupting... you were talking about this point. Can you continue what you were explaining?" But yeah... it's kinda giving me anxiety the way Dr. Neinstein keeps talking over Dr. Linkoffiss. I had to take breaks to listen to the whole segment. I hope he makes his patients feel more heard. Sometimes they have a different bedside manner for patients vs colleagues
I totally agree with your comment I have to go to bed so I can't watch all this right now but I've already had to pause it twice lol. I like Dr Gary so him being interrupted gives me anxiety as well. They have very opposite energies. If I cut people off I try to say sorry and ask them to continue as well. The other doctor sponsored this podcast so I feel he may think I paid for this so I can talk as much as I want or I want to get my monies worth lol. I could be wrong. If I was on a podcast and interrupted the other person and rambled it would be because I was nervous but this doctor seems confident so I don't think that's what's happening here. Dr Gary is soft spoken and has a slower speech rhythm so I feel the other doctor just feels like he can jump in there between words and in middle of Dr Gary's sentences. I would be surprised if he was brought on the podcast again.
Its shows strength and humility to ask the opinion of others, get their support, and consideration of how it affects your family. Hats off to you (pardon the pun) Gary.
This was a VERY hard watch/ listen to😅 The constant interruptions with the most basic, generic, off topic quotes was incredibly frustrating. He claims to be a specialist in liposuction and body contouring but in reality he has a PHD in Yappology. Dr.Neinstein only listens to respond. Saying in one breath “ we are in the business of developing relationships with patients” then continuing to say “ I love that we have the same type of AVATARS coming into the office.” Thats DEEPLY disturbing. I’m a 26 year old single female with a job in interior design. I am concerning lipo with fat transfer to the breast. I’m very confident with myself but with a superficial career that benefits from looking your best it’s easy to want a few cosmetic changes. So, I can see how an older woman or mother would be his target audience. And I do mean “target” simply by the way he describes his clients is predatory. This is the major issue with people who get into personal development and “woke culture” they often miss the point. Working on your mental health and self development is NOT about proving to others that you’re smarter than them. It’s about understanding the world around you and how you can make a positive impact while you’re here. Him tell Dr.Linkov to stop consulting with people who are close to him because they MIGHT have a different perspective on the situation is extremely arrogant. Humans are built on community; and cutting off others for having an opinions is immature and irresponsible especially as a doctor. I’d trust Dr.linkov with the life of my lips any day BUT Dr. N could never touch my body even if I needed CPR. 😂😂😂 Ps. I want a lip lift ❤😂❤😂
I agree with everything you said except your jab at "woke culture." Where does that fit in? What are you trying to say about it? It doesn't really fit in with anything else in your monolith of otherwise sensible text.
I can’t finish this video. Dr. N needs to learn how to be an active listener. Stop interrupting Dr. Linkov and talking over him. Clearly he only wants to hear his own voice. I feel for Dr. Linkov! It has to be making him crazy.
My friend had a surgery with him paid 15k for stomach and around, had lumps. Also know another person who did a lot at his practice. I don’t want to say anything more but she said a lot about him. Also look at his face and ask yourself why he looks like that. Do your research wisely. Go to many consults I know it’s expensive but revisions are even more so. An office on park or Madison doesn’t reflect actual skill and don’t get fooled by Instagram. That’s my five cents.
Dr. Linkoffis is so gracious. His authenticity I recognized from his first days on YT and even told him this(I am sure he doesn’t remember and that doesn’t matter). I just feared he wouldn’t last for this reason. However, when you are authentic, and it is recognized, you can thrive! So glad to see him do so.
as someone who also thinks ego is your worst enemy, dr. neinstein isnt really living by those words. maybe you do need some ego to be an entrepreneur but he really rubs me the wrong way. at least he's honest about his practice. keep the videos coming dr. linkov!
I love these conversations between Dr. Linkov and other surgeons. Personally, as a patient, I don't think you have to go to an expert to get results you're happy with, but as something of a plastic surgery enthusiast, I still found it fascinating to hear them talk shop.
Dr. Neinstein has a lot of energy and it shows! The person being interviewed should have more time to talk because they’re asked to come and share their experiences, knowledge, etc. I thought this was a conversation between two colleagues who were sharing their experiences and complementing each other’s thoughts like friends! Dr. Gary is the calmer, quieter friend and Dr. Neinstein the energetic one which created a balanced dynamic! 😊❤
Lol it's not a paradox at all, but presumably the worry is that people do not know it is autoimmune, but rather think it may be an issue similar to what the patients are worried about, and may think 'so how come your transplant didn't take'? Well you know what I mean. It sucks of course. I'd trust Gary Linkov with anything tbh
Am I the only one who doesn’t mind the interruptions? He’s there to engage with Gary. If we wanted to hear Gary speak on his own we’d watch another video. I loved it! It’s interesting to see different personality types in the same industry
I think your ability to go with the flow in this case shows something about you as a surgeon that’s subtle (and still impressive): How you work within a team when you’re not the lead. I am IMPRESSED. You clearly work well in a team when playing the supporting member. To me, that means you much be AMAZING to your nurses.
Wow. This surgeon has zero self awareness. Constantly interrupting, over talking Dr. Gary, pushing his agenda. Its quite humorous, actually, this puddle telling the ocean how to be. 😂
Dr. Neinstein you should replay this video with your team & evaluate it like your consultations. I think the comment section can you give you some insight too. I get that a podcast is different than a consulatation, but if you have this big of a blind spot, i would suspect it bleeds over to your practice & other areas of your life. All the best.
Dr Gary, you're lovely! On a side note I am not a fan of whatever work this doctor got to his face. The face looks too 'pulled back'. Is that a facelift? Maybe it will settle to more natural results at some point? Like there is too much face / space on the outsides of the face (forehead/ temples/ space between cheeks and ears)... I don't know how to explain lol
Could be natural. I had friends growing up who looked very much like him and still do. Now, we're likely still about a decade apart in age, but 🤷♀️ The older sibling hasn't had any drooping of the skin yet.
I seriously dislike Dr. Neinstein. I don't know if it's intentional but he comes off soooo douchey and arrogant. Dr. Linkov is so much more grounded, soft-spoken, and humble.
Love your videos Dr Linkov! If you are taking requests for celebrity plastic surgery analysis, I think it would be great if you analysed Jon Bon Jovi since Bon Jovi are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. We've come to expect pop stars, actors and models to have plastic surgery; so it would be interesting to see an analysis of a rock star. Ty in advance, Dr!
"If you're not better than the master"? Dr. Neinstein thinks very highly of himself. I prefer Dr. Linkov, I feel that if something goes awry, Dr. Linkov would be a better fit for me.
Yes that wasn't too nice :/ not a fan. I know which one is the most good looking and attractive though :) it's not about the amount of hair on the scalp....
.... I couldn't. Dr. Gary... I'm a loner. Introvert. I have awesome armies of community and family all around. And I can enjoy deep conversations with anyone. This wasn't easy..
Could you do a video on dark circles and fillers and how many doctors now tend to NOT do that procedure anymore because of the risks - and what your opinion on that is?
@Dr. Linkov, you're allowed to tell your guests "hey this is a podcast and viewers don't like it when people interrupt each other". It was very painful to hear you take minutes to get a sentence out.
What an unpleasant interview to watch because of the constant interruptions from Neinstein. Also, Linkov failed to mention his Bell's Palsy was from the jab, not sarscov2.
whatever that doctor took before this interview is very apparent. the massive pupils, sporadic interrupts, the way his eyes rolled back when he rubbed his head.. lmfao, all quite telling.
I think he is enthusiastic, and he did bring the discussion forward. I don't criticize others by hiding, I am quite open, I certainly don't attack people I don't know. I think being a plastic surgeon is very difficult because what the client wants may not be realistic or achievable and seeing your changed appearance may be a shock. I have to say this: The men who do plastic surgery tend to look rather unattractive, unappealing in looks. Nothing to do with the two of you, just my observation which is of course subjective.
Please explore K Michelle surgeries. I hear she's been like 8 different people cause them alojg with implants and ass surgery. And I just wanna see her transformations
He keeps interrupting and he only wants to do surgery on "beautiful people". For me it seems sad that he seems to me like he doesn't like "ugly people". If an "ordinary" person asks for a consultation and wants surgery does he turn them away and tells them to turn to another surgeon just because they are not "beautiful enough"? I am Autistic and I also a dyslexic (and Swedish 😊) so I hope that you can look past my spelling and how I form my sentences. 🫤 By the way. Doctor Gary Linkov seems so grounded and "human" and he doesn't seem to think that he is better than everyone else. I really wish you the best Doctor Gary Linkov. 👌🏻 I couldn't watch it past the "beautiful people" part. 🫤 I got to upset. 🫤
I the like the abyss of like randomness like... that is intriguing to me, I wanna learn more about that [Doctor Linkov's hair paradox]... Sorry, it reminded me of the Miss America contestant "I personally feel, that US Americans don't HAVE maps like, such as South Africa and The Iraq... 😂
I love Gary but call B/S on Dr N. Why on earth would any Australian fly over to the USA for surgery when your dollar is 1.57 of ours? Besides that we have world class surgeons here and are becoming a cosmetic tourism destination.
I've traveled from New Zealand to Miami for plastic surgery before. It was expensive as hell to be sure, but there wasn't anyone in New Zealand OR Australia with the skills and experience for what I was looking for. Australia is relatively small, lots of people travel for surgery if that's where your research and choice of surgeon takes you. Better to pay more than end up with an undesirable result and end up having to pay again for a revision.
