When i worked the indies as security we had to ad lib so many things; we started using saws to cut half way through tables so the talents wouldn't hurt themselves, buying blood packet from Party City for color and used a set of toy handcuffs against the faces when they would put the boots to them.. I really miss those days.

90s seem like yesterday. That was a great decade. High school and college for me. Some of the stuff they talked about were throw backs from the territories. Old ladies were used all the time. Often, they werent in the know. They were just perfect for getting heat.

Hi @MavenKHuffman , i was an highschool wrestler and became an epileptic after a series of concussions my senior year. Ive had to spend alot of time on RU-vid over the years while being admitted to the hospital. I just wanted to thank you because your show has become my newest addiction and has helped the time go by much faster and much more tolerable then watching videos of parrots talking lol. -From Dave on his gfs RU-vid account.

I practice wushu (Chinese martial arts), and we use similar auditory techniques for solo forms. A quick stomp or slap of the forearm can make a move sound devastating.

The funny thing about when this came out, most if not all wrestling fans know it's a work and if you've seen enough matches you know the ins and outs but you also know bad things do happen as the old "Don't do this at home" ads used to say.

Growing up, I would have liked to have kept this incredulity, but with time and passion, you learn how everything works, all of which in no way detracts from the exceptional physical quality a wrestler must have to perform all this, nor does it detract from the fact that at certain moments, pain is really present, and that this can unfortunately lead to serious injury ! Just a bump on the back, I wouldn't like to take it, because in any case, whether it's more or less painful , gravity is here, it must have an impact on the body more or less in the long term, and I can't even imagine what it's like when you're up in the air !! I have a HUGE respect for all that... Wrestling is one of the most beautiful disciplines ... HI FROM FRANCE , hope my english is good ! 😀

Hey, Maven. A few years ago, i started training at a wrestling school. It was the JPWA (Jacobs Prichard Wrestling Academy) Ran by Kane and Dr. Tom Prichard. I broke my collarbone in the ring during training and ended up having to drop out due to the injury. Kane and Dr. Tom were nice enough to give me a refund on what i had paid for the school (even though the contract said they wouldn't). I plan on returning to JPWA in the future and continue my training. Also, Kane and Dr. Tom are two of the nicest people I've ever met in my life!

Maven really should make a Royal Rumble appearance as a special guest. He has so much subscribers on RU-vid people still do remember him and respect his knowledge about the business WWE really should think about considering that one year.
