It's definitely not a place for kids, and never has been. I know a few people managed to sneak on to the main grid (back when Teen Grid was a thing), but SL has always been geared for adults.

He’s always there in London City. I heard about SL through trolling videos and I go to just sit on a bench and listen to people talk when I’m too bored to play something else.
man, its sad when Second Life doesnt show new players the actual good places. There are some really cool looking places. There are also a lot of artists who make stuff for game, the issue is Second life wont showcase it. They like to show 10-15 year old Sims no one has touched in years.
@@NeNukee A lot is updating on it, if you look at avatars from back in the day and now. It really is night and day. Same with the worlds people make. The issue is SL themselves do not clear up old outdated shit. everything from years ago can be used, is free and is all over. Making it look old and awful. On top of that, they need a way to just tell you How many people are in each sim, if it has parcels and if Mic is available., and what kind of Sim it is (Club, homes, store) They also could do with helping new players with a list of active and popular places to go.
@@LuluLinn I didnt know you were an avid fan of SL but as someone who doesnt play it the ui and graphics of the game are the biggest turn off for me and i feel like if they were ever to try and get new players thats what they should focus on first. I mean at that point they should just make a whole new game.

it was like to role play real life you were supposed to go to work then in the free time go shopping hang out stuff like that but I really don't know who wants to role play real life on their downtime it came out in like 2003 was massively popular at the time and somehow seems people are still going on it

I got in and was lurking in London. Soldier Waverider showed up with his Cowboy Hat and Plunger. He was talking about all kinds of weird ass shit! Guy is definitely a character. He was talking about Golden Showers and how he would probably like that cause people like that stuff and he never tried that. I busted out laughing for like the 3rd time and he turns around n goes, "The hell is wrong with you Private!??" I was duckin behind some bushes and he couldn't figure out who was laughing. He got really pissed and the girls around him freaked out trying to calm him down. "He's laughing with you not at you!!" There Cowboy was spinning around tryin to figure out who was laughing. "Who the hell was laughin come outta the damn bushes godammit" He gets triggered so if anyone else drops in to visit just be cool. He's a character and says alot of stupid shit. You can't go wrong if he's there.
to be fair the game came out in like 2003 and it really hasnt been updated for modern use the community probably likes the way the game is currently so the devs probably never had a reason to update it
For the game to be 'updated' would basically crash the economy which keeps the entire game running as many scripts would break. Scripts break meaning no ones items would work. People would stop creating and/or spending. Would also take time and money that they simply don't have and even then probably refuse to invest. Short of making a new game it's unlikely to happen.
you have to teleport with the big map thing into the green circles if you see two that means two people its usually somebodys house they get so pressed when your in their house they treat that shit like its reallife dude its gold for trolling people

@@scoopwoop8196 Because they will be labeled as adult and will advertise sex to you, its not hard to miss really. Also not all adult sims are going to be for sex, some people just buy plots there because they don't want to have any regulation on what they do. Someone might buy a house and they want to decorate with adult items or they get into a relationship and want to be intimate on their own land. Or sometimes people just like to be nude without the sex.

jeez. you landed in one of the worst places in SL, London city. Voice chat is usually seen in your top bar when you seen it crossed out or if your mic button is greyed out it has no VC.
Literally just watched the SL vid you made 4 months ago and thought of getting on in London City to see if you'd get on again. Decided against going there, but wish I did.
