Hey there, Super happy to see your comment :) Hilariously enough, I have actually never been banned on TurtleWoW Despite botting on it for roughly a week straight (No Stops, with hundreds of deaths and almost NO quest turn ins), and it's been quite a while since (we're talking 6+ months), without getting caught. However if I make a second video, I will most likely showcase the account, just to show the proof :) After all, I did try to make it obvious, and only had done it to showcase their lack of security they claim to have. One of the key points I stated as well was the fact of them outright mentioning hosting playerbots. Then again because of the leak, anyone who has it can see it (as the account is within that leak) themselves on it not being banned :)) but hey ^^.

This is indeed the truth. Which is sad to be honest. The only reason why I made this video is because of the absolute lack of information out there about the leak, background, and honestly everything to do about Turtle. Everywhere you turn you see nothing but "praise" about them, when in reality, it's all a cleverly orchestrated ruse that can be easily uncovered if you look past what they themselves are saying.

Hey there! Thanks so much for your feedback. Unfortunately with regard to Shenna, there is so much evidence showing that Shenna is Torta, that an entire video alone could just be documented on it. Indeed, there were a lot of discord messages, however when you look at the leaks as well, including that of all the commands ran on their server, you'll see very key information. This goes into personal names (Which I didn't show, but it was in reference to the gamescon PDF file), as well as commands ran on the server within the leak. An example of said commands when ran on the machine is put here: git clone github.com/shenna-elysium/turtle-wow.git sources ls cd sources ls cd .. mkdir data mkdir logs ls mkdir bin ls mkdir etc ls mkdir build ls mkdir crash ls rm -r build && mkdir build && cd build && cmake -DCMAKE_C_FLAGS="-O2 -pipe" -DCMAKE_CXX_FLAGS="${CMAKE_C_FLAGS}" -DUSE_ANTICHEAT=1 -DDEBUG=1 -DUSE_STD_MALLOC=1 -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/home/twptr/ ../sources && make -j16 && make install cd .. cd sources While this may be a bit confusing, this is a command to clone the repo (AKA the source code) onto the main server, and then build it. Here you can see that the username for that account (before being deleted) was shenna-elysium. This requires an auth token or something of the sort to be able to do this due to being a private repo. That means, that the person "Shenna" had to be on the said servers because they were pushing source code of turtlewow towards and back from github as a source control. I understand that there are many who will absolutely refuse to believe, regardless of what is shown to them, however I did want to simply throw this out there. If you want answers, I would recommend you looking through the information and determining it yourself.

Warmane is located in the RU. Their website is located in france using OVH and Cloudflare, but they mask the game server to be out of france to protect themselves. This is done by forwarding the traffic.

I expect the worst in many, however the reason why I made this video is because of the lack of information out there. Millions of peoples accounts were compromised within this leak, and yet turtle-wow has not spoken publicly much about it and held themselves accountable. There are EU laws an regulations for example in regards to users information like this, yet it is not on anyone's radar.

I am not defending TurtleWoW - I'm criticizing the way the author portraits the situation. Way too long with, never straight to the point, many ifs: That is the sign of a weak argument. If you got something get it out clear and upfront. The music screams untrustworthy, you could make a video of how aliens control the government and what the Aztec pyramids have to do with it with this setup. If there is something substantial - I really would like to know, because I like the stuff TurtleWoW devs did with their way of developing Vanilla+.

This post is filled with halftruths, and honestly it just shows your lack of understanding within the modding scene unless you're intentionally trying to be deceptive. You can take a wow disk that you own (Vanilla - WOTLK Guaranteed) and play on a private server with no issues. What becomes problematic, is when they are doing custom stuff to their client, such as injecting DLL's into it, or doing custom interface edits, and so on. These DLL's already can be malicious, or they can just be there for cosmetic things (such as TurtleWoWs Discord Overlay), ingame clientside changes like Action Camera, and so on). These DLL's already can indeed be malicious, which already poses as a possible security threat, however, in my experience they can be removed/deleted from the client with no issues. This however becomes further problematic, when you have the ability to compile whatever you want, into your EXE. When you have the ability to create, and ship your own EXE, you are essentially trusting said people that they have absolutely nothing malicious within their EXE. We aren't talking something you can take out of your client, something that is optional, we're talking about a malicious piece of code, that could very easily be written by a rogue coder as if they wish as a doomsday button, to just activate across the board and bluescreen folks's computers or much worse if they cared. This very EXE could create Zombified Computers, and so on. I understand you may want to see the best in them, afterall you're on their shinking ship now, however the security risks are there, the reputation of their acts are there, and their words and how they treat other modders and people are there up for display. Essentially you're teaming up with outlaws, folks who know it's against blizzard TOS to do what they're doing, and are willing to scam/attack their playerbase at will. For someone who worked at blizzard, I would expect a lot higher/better moral/ethical compass, but then again, you aren't part of their team anymore so it makes somewhat sense now.

Whatever it is you think you're doing with videos like this... It is reflecting poorly upon your integrity and demonstrates a strong bias... As did the hacker when they violated the privacy of every member of the TWoW team, cut things out of context, and pushed what were obviously JOKES as factual statements. Imagine if someone took a statement you made while blowing off steam and tried to purport that was your actual viewpoint and then extrapolated things about your character and integrity from it... It's hard not to think that you're doing a performative grift to draw attention to yourself at this point and I hope that you'll re-evaluate what purpose a video like this serves... Because I don't think it comes across the way you intend. As to me no longer working at Blizzard (since before WoW shipped) that's a fucking badge of honor at this stage given what they became.

@@matthewnapiertv For what I know there is only handful of projects using custom DLLs notably Warmane does and Ascension too and maybe some others as for the EXE file itself for majority of all servers it is unmodified and clear version of it unless the private server ships you with let's say custom UI which has internet check in exe which has to be turned off (exactly 14 bytes of code) so in this case you need modified exe but even when I was modding wow for like 14 years I never saw anyone ever ship malicious code in wow.exe itself since its ultra simple to first of all find clear exe yourself then its a bit harder to compare it byte by byte with modified exe and there you can see differences in the structure I have released several times list of the most known changes to the wow.exe that are being done by multiple servers and you can proof check what those changes do and if they are present in your wow.exe that you have downloaded

most of this is shit from 8 years ago and doesn't affect you. the "leaks" are also meaningless if you use different passwords on everything, as you should. people like this guy make money off rage bait and making people feel like they should be upset over something they were and would have continued to be completely unaware of. if you have fun on twow play it, if you aren't then don't. the fact this video could be compressed into 15 minutes and the creator's passive aggressive and patronizing comments to all dissenters should be enough to help you understand his end goal.

So you're fine with them having your payment information (I.e Address/Full Name/ Card Name/ Security Code, etc), alongside your User/Pass/IP as well as thousands of other people having it now? Because that's the issue at hand here, the breach of your information as a consumer and their negligence. The history of Shenna and the proof of Shenna being behind it is simply to show that it is in fact someone who does not care about you, the security of their players, or the quality of their game etc. It is simply ONLY about you paying them.

Many people don't use throw away cards or try to secure their information expecting everything to just be safe, however I am glad one person thus far as kept their information secure, or at least part of it.
