I never believed the Zayne “assault” story. I remember reading the reports that were filed and there were so many holes in her story. There is a reason why the cast from RHOBH were questioning Yolanda’s claims she was battling Lyme disease. She comes across as disingenuous to me.

I remember being 14 I was on a diet. My mom was out late that day so I had to make my own supper and I had a can of ravioli and a salad. My mom came home and asked me what I ate. I have Angelina Jolie type of lips; lots of mixed race women have fuller lips. As a pre teen my mum told me twice that my lips looked like fish lips if I frowned. She used to tell my sister that her hair was horrible to deal with all the time. Mind you that my sister’s hair was absolutely gorgeous, and incredibly thick. But this is how my mother would phrase it “terrible, too difficult”. My mother was such an ignorant evil cow on most weeks, but I personally never listened to her. If there was always a thing that I have always liked about myself that was my lips, and soon enough as I grew up to see all the rich white women get lip injections, that was further confirmation to me that my lips were beautiful, and that at least a part of my own mother was just jealous of them. It is such a sad and scary thought for one to realize that about the one person whom we are supposed to feel the safest growing up around. Too many females (and males) around having no maturity what so ever to breed and raise a child; and that has just been life on this planet. If one is dealt a child parent like that, one soon understands that we are actually the ones who will have to eventually start parenting them, if we are to have a relationship with them at all. At 39 I decided that I had simply forgiven my mother’s offenses way too many times and way too fast and stopped having a relationship with her. It’s been 3 years now. I know that I will eventually speak to her again, but when I do I will have to be the mum, because the other thing is that they don’t change! The Hadid sisters will later in life, once they grow fully into their own (which usually happens to women in their late 30s and 40s exactly) reach the same conclusions about Ms. Yolanda. She’s in control now, but she won’t be forever.
When I was 14 my sister, who was older, gave me a “diet tip” that if I eat a couple crackers 30 minutes before dinner, I would eat less at dinner. My grandpa used to take me on walks everyday and when I proudly told him of my new cracker plan, he reached down and pinched my belly fat and said “wow! There’s those extra crackers everyday!” And that was the beginning on my eating disorder.
I struggled with an eating disorder. When I was 9 I felt fat, I was curvier than the other girls, by the time I was 12 it had developed into a full eating disorder, because my p.e teacher told me that "the holidays must have gotten to me" after weighing me when we returned from Christmas break. At the time I weighed 120 pounds, and gained 3 pounds of water weight from my period. She really reinforced my bad eating habits because I was convinced everyone saw me as fat. I still feel that way and my hormone imbalance/ depression/ anxiety and binge eating disorder make it hard for me to balance my weight and I've been over weight for a few years. But at least i dont starve or purge anymore! The thoughts dont go away conpletely but I'm slowly learning to love myself and make healthy choices and so can you

Yes! As someone who grew up watching this as a teenager, it makes me sick for them and now the grandchild. My grandmother always criticized me if I gained a pound or 2 and it lead to disordered eating for years and later addiction. I’m clean/sober today, but those comments stick with you.

I feel like Bella also has insecurities because she got buccal fat removal surgery. That kind of plastic surgery ages your face faster and causes sagging and it’s something permanent. She can never get that fat back, and that’s the fat that keeps you looking young.
This is very damaging behaviour. I can only assume she picked it up from struggling in the industry herself back in the day when there was no such thing as too skinny but my mum only did a fraction of what Yolanda did and it does cause Anorexia and depression. My mother raised me like this. Both my parents. Dad died. So I was left with mum dieting me and forcing me to not do sports so I didn’t look like a man. Always telling me I was too fat too big I was 17 and 145lbs because of sports. She bullied me to get down to 100lbs. Fast forward ten years I got away and I still struggle with body dysmorphia every time I look at myself. I don’t really speak with her anymore. But I go to the gym every day now I eat a lot like I SHOULD and I’ve never been so strong. Yolanda and my mother would vomit looking at me AND I LOVE IT. I’ll beat you up lol

I’m a mother and I could never imagine treating my daughter like this. I want her to be her fullest self no matter what it is. I support any sports or special activities she wants to participate in. And I make sure she eats 3 full meals daily, how could she malnourish her daughter like this? I could never understand. I work at an eating disorder clinic as a counselor for about five years and things like this really break my heart. I noticed a huge trend in clients coming to our center that had this type of relationship with her parents. A lot of times unhealthy relationships with food start even from childhood in the things that are parents say to us.
She's a terrible person. Growing up, I had an aunt who would tell me that I'm too fat and boys don't like fat girls, I was only 9 at the time. Since then, I've become so self conscious, I don't even like to see my naked body, let alone let someone else see me naked. I hope I heal from that soon 😪
Sad when mothers destroy their children's right to eat. Giving them eating disorders. Modeling is hard business. Bella and Gigi should feel free to eat what they want. Hope Gigi doesn't let Yolanda treat her daughter like that. Repeat the cycle.
Unfortunatly, as long as being bone-skinny is the model thing, models are going to starve themselves to death. Maybe the modeling rules should change like every model has to be at their body type and age weaght if they want to model. I was once anarixic to look good and I was constantly throwing up from an empty stumach and when I had to eat something more than an ice cube, I had a hard time putting a spoon of oatmeal into my mouth and when I did, I had to try to keep it in without throwing it up. When I finally decided, enough was enough, I ballooned out like crazy. Those two are going to one day say F it! and pig out and that'll be the end of that. Mother needs to back off and let them do what they want so they can enjoy what they do.

I honestly feel like Yolanda is SO incredibly jealous of her daughters & their success. Gigi didn’t have to stop modeling after she had her daughter but Yolanda says she quit modeling to become a mother and wife. I just really see this underlining jealousy with her when it comes to her daughters. Gigi has this INCREDIBLE modeling career, has a beautiful daughter and had a man who absolutely adored her and would do & give her the world while Yolanda felt like she had to give her modeling career up.

With some bodies, it is possible. I used to be a size 2 and would eat anything that I want without gaining weight. Some people have naturally fast metabolisms.
I struggle with gaining weight too, I'm a size zero and eat a lot. The amounts of food it would take for me to be a couple of sizes bigger with my metabolism is just crazy.

The whole thing started after Yolanda entered Zayn's home when Gigi was in Paris for fashion week. according to sources to TMZ, Yolanda would go to his house and try to control the way he parented little Khai while HER bodyguard was there. Not to mention that narcissism doesn't always look like you expect it to and also, how many people actually take responsibility for how their trauma has shaped them? Not many. So there's plenty of people who seem like narcissists, but are not. The word narcissist is way overused today.

I've always kinda felt bad for them. Moms can be toxic my mom use to make get laser treatments for my acne and I had to always get my hair did, just always wanted me to be perfect. Like I'll never put that type of pressure on my kid.

I feel so sorry for Gigi and Bella for having such a toxic mother. That must've been so difficult and hurting.. I can't imagine what they've been through. Sending them much love and support! Fingers crossed for both Bella and Gi! I hope they're happy and live their lives on their own terms!
What's hilarious is the fact that the one daughter she thinks(or thought before surgery) was ugly is the daughter that looks more like her (before they had the work done, go back and look....Bella looks more like her than Gigi) And we all know she's toxic and has forced anorexia nervosa onto her daughters. No one is doing anything about it. At this point both girls are old enough to get away from her and help for the EDs, so at some point they have to take responsibility for their own lives.
When I was younger and modeling my mom was just like this when it came to controlling my weight. She would constantly comment on my "bubble butt" and how much I ate. It was truly miserable and I loathed my mom for this. After I quit I told her how I felt and she had no idea how it hurt me. She thought she was supporting me but in reality it was detrimental. Took me yrs to be happy with my body and have a normal relationship with food.
I feel like Yolanda lied about being attacked by Zayn since he wouldn't let Khai be a model. She is so controlling of her children, she is stunting their emotional growth as adults so they rely on her.
You know the only reason kris isn’t strict about diet with her daughters is because they can easily get all kinds of fat reducing and removing procedures and surgeries.
Bella & Gigi are both so gorgeous and I hope they both break away from this narcissistic, manipulative ,toxic relationship with their mom & just support each other . It's ok to leave toxic people out of your life! You matter & don't let anyone control you like this!
Also it’s so hard to have a true opinion on how Yolanda talks to her daughters about weight because we have to remember how much more cut throat the modeling industry was in her time and that’s all she knows. People are stuck in their ways and we all know people like that. It’s not excusable and I’m not defending Yolanda but remember how long she was in the game and the time period she was. Nothing like what it is now.
I just don´t unterstand how both can just tolerate Yolanda and even speak about her so highly.. Really confusing because Gigi and Bella seem pretty humble and grounded. It's just so contradictory. I hope that now with Gigi becoming a mother and Bella becoming a aunt they get a backbone cuz its honestly sad.
Modeling is so beyond messed up! I have a good friend who is a professional model and she was telling me about the time she was doing a runway show in Japan and they literally measured the girls right off the plane and sent two of them immediately back to the US because they were too big!!! Wtf
